2014 POWER X-TRAVEGANZA (Part 3)

THE PUPPY OF BATTLE

Watcha got for me, Top 80?

More and more familiar faces are starting to come into play now- seven out of the ten in this group are currently on the roster.  It’s a trend in FFW- if you wash out, you washout rather quickly, but if you have the longevity, you stick around for a good while.  It’s kind of a good way to go, really.  Weeding out those who can’t cut it, but those who do, the opportunity is there.

#80: LOLLIPOP
Ranked 94th in 2013
2014 Record: 2-0
Lollipop was downright crazy in 2014, first as a member of Lollipop Chainsaw, and then as a member of the Zombie Chainsaw Massacre.  Unfortunately, both groupings were short lived, and Lollipop took on a far more sinister edge when she returned at the end of the year to join the Femme Fatales.

#79: NENE ABRUTI
2014 Record: 1-2
Poor Nene never really got off the ground in FFW, losing to Willow and Valentina in her first two contests.  She then made history by becoming the only person in Chase For the Crown history to win her first round match and not make the next round, thanks to her release shortly after the Relentless PPV.

#78: AMANDA GRAY
2014 Record: 2-3
Despite hanging on to finish fourth in her Future Shock Season, Mandy suffered a slow start to her main roster career, being eliminated first in the battle royal at Byte This VI, and dropping a singles match to Kimmi Hate.  But she rebounded for a win over Candi and a revenge spot against Kimmi, only to fall in her final match of the year to Neveah Summers.  She’s definitely young, and improving, and poses to make an impact on the Future Shock Championship scene in 2015.

#77: ALLISON SULLIVAN
Ranked 68th in 2013
2014 Record: 1-3
Another disappointing year for Allison, who just can’t seem to get traction.  She got a nice bump from a triple threat win over Sophia Black and Nicole Knight, but suffered the wrath of Willow in the Chase for the Crown to her (and the rest of her team’s) demise.  She spent the rest of the year in a tag team with Hope Dawson called Roaring Spirit that also couldn’t get its wheels up.  Always next year, cheerleader.

#76: DESIRAE KAIN
Ranked 48th in 2013
2014 Record: 1-1
Sadly, that’s probably all she wrote for the saga of Desirae Kain, who tried to revive her career one more time, appearing at Relentless to thwart Jodie Gray from getting too carried away on Destiny Loveheart.  Sadly, that same Jodie put her out of action with a crippling Knockout at Relentless, and Kain’s not been seen since.

#75: ADIRA RIDDICK
2014 Record: 1-2
Color me disappointed about Riddick, because I thought she was actually have quite the impact in FFW.  She finished a respectable third in her Future Shock season, and picked up a nice debut win over Hope Dawson.  But two matches with DJ Laine had her coming up short, and she soon after left the company due to personal reasons.

#74: MEGAN CARAWAY
2014 Record: 3-0
It could be argued that talent-wise, Megan was the best wrestler in Season 14 of Future Shock, but she couldn’t find a way around Sylvia Crowley to get into the finals.  Still, she’s yet to taste defeat in main competition, and could be poised for some big things in 2015.

#73: HOLLY ADAMS
Ranked 35th in 2013
2014 Record: 0-1
After bullying so many people herself, Holly finally became a victim in FFW, forced out of the company by her own partner Madelyne McTaggert in some convoluted plot to win Kate Steele’s trust and then betray her.  Holly was sent down the river, and very few people were sad to see her reign of terror end.

#72: DAWN WARREN
2014 Record: 1-4
The Green Psycho Fox Puppy of… whatever is certainly one of the more… unique competitors to come out of Future Shock, all though you have to give her credit for sheer energy and enthusiasm.  Sadly, that energy hasn’t been cultivated into too much success, although she did land a surprise win over Sylvia Crowley at Malice- in a street fight no less!  She kicks off 2015 by trying her hand at the Future Shock Cup.

#71: ASHLEY WHITMORE
Ranked 80th in 2013
2014 Record: 2-2
Ashley spent the entirety of 2014 as Mileena Savage’s tag partner in In Canada We Trust, which saw her pick up the best moment of her career thus far by pinning NHB’s Angela Hinchcliffe for ICWT’s first ever win.  Still, 2015 seems to be back to losing, as ICWT was just picked apart by Dark Fantasy.
