BEATING UP YOUR RIVALS DADDY IS WORTH AT LEAST A TEN SPOT JUMP* |
The March to the top continues as we hit the
Top 50, and see more and more of the “regularly booked” wrestlers. That said, you can’t help but think there’s
quite a few disappointments and “what would have beens” in this group.
Oh, and in case you missed it and are too lazy to click on the right side... here's the previous installments

#50: HOPE
DAWSON
2014 Record:
3-16
Hope managed to go an entire year without a
single PR nightmare, which must have been good enough for her, as she was
released shortly after Anarchy. She has
that big win over Kimmi Hate at Sin & Sacrifice to feel good about, at
least.
#49: PENNY
BUCHANAN
Ranked 7th
in 2013
2014 Record:
3-6
One of 2013’s biggest surprises was one of 2014’s
biggest disappointments. Four times
Penny got a chance to go after the Ultraviolence Championship, and she came up
short each and every time, as well as the Femme For All. The last half of the year was particularily
brutal, as the Pain Train derailed into a four match losing streak.
#48: STEPHANIE
SULLIVAN
Ranked 29th
in 2013
2014 Record:
0-5
Baa Baa
Black Sheep
Have You
Ever Won?
No sir,
No sir, not a single one.
Every
time she stepped in the ring they kicked her ass
But her
schedule was pure murder, so she kinda gets a pass.
#47: MARLA LEE
Ranked 84th
in 2013
2014 Record:
1-1-1
Oh, what could have been. After one of the most dominating Future Shock
performances in the show’s history, Marla figured to make a dominating year in
the UV division, but actually proved so goddamn chaotic that she actually
forced a NO CONTEST in a UV Title match!
Then, unfortunately, she made the mistake of going after a primordial
force of pure destruction in SVW, got
injured, and sat the rest of the year out.
#46: MERCEDES
VARGAS
2014 Record:
3-11-1
Mercedes started promising, winning her first
two matches, but then fell into a brutal rivalry against the Social Elite,
which did not go well at all for her.
Like… zero wins in six matches not well.
At least her forced induction into the group only lasted like a month,
but her time in FFW lasted not much longer as she fell out of the company after
losing to Leah O’Quinn in November.
#45: METEORA
Ranked 56th
in 2013
2014 Record: 3-5
Well on the bright side, the Rudos didn’t get
us permabanned from any foreign countries this year, which is a step up from last
year. Overall, it was as Rudo-y a year
as it is. A few wins, and a LOT of
shenanigans.
#44: CAMILLA
PAZZINI
Ranked 33rd
in 2013
2014 Record:
0-4
Chunks continued her downward spiral from
late 2013, but it didn’t help that she
was repeatedly facing some of the best talent in the company during it. Luckily, Camilla realized she needed to take
a breath and get a fresh start, and stepped away before things got even worse.
#43: TIFA HEAFY
Ranked 59th
in 2013
2014 Record:
6-1
Tifa started the year on a tear, knocking off
her first six matches of the year (and a seven match win streak overall) before
being stopped by Neveah Summers in a Television #1 Contenders match. Oddly, she released herself from FFW and
jumped to SVW after that, and although she’s returning to form Heafy United 2.0
with Elissa, its still sad to think what might have been had she stuck around.
#42: SOPHIE
RICHARDS
Ranked 51st
in 2013
2014 Record:
3-3
Wendy Briese called Sophie the most
underutilized talent in the company just yesterday, and its tough to argue with
her. Sophie more than held her own in
tough losses to Wendy Briese and Crystal Hilton, as well as picked up a massive
win over Valerie Lamb, but, despite an appearance in the Femme For All, she
just hasn’t gotten the traction she needs- or deserves.
#41: STARDUST
Ranked 57th
in 2013
2014 Record:
3-5
FFW TRIVIA: While the Rudos are a decent Tag
Team, and certainly stand out in the Unity Division with their antics, they’re
an abysmal Trios team, unable to work with others. They lost both their Trios matches last year
(teaming with Tara Thunder and Ignis), and are 0-4 all times when having to
share their sandbox.
