2014 POWER X-TRAVAGANZA (Part 2)

SO, HOW MANY MATCHES DID YOU WIN THIS YEAR AGAIN?

The funnest part of doing the Power X-Travaganza is that, the further in I go, the easier it is to write, as I go from having to hit the Wayback Machine to remember who the hell these people even are to just fondly remembering the kind of year that person’s had.  It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

So today we hit the Top 90… which is still really more towards the former than the latter, but at least now we’re getting into women that actually managed to stick around for a couple of matches.  And heck, there’s a few faces in here that might become MUCH more prevalent in 2015.

#90: SKYE ARMANI
2014 RECORD: 1-0
You had to have known Skye was going to show up pretty quick after we put her partner at #92.  Either way Skye was in one match in 2014- a win over the Heafy’s with the aid of a mirror.  Armani’s life in FFW was short lived, as she elected not to sign after her dismissal in Future Shock, electing instead to subjugate herself to Kyle Kilmeade, a relationship that I’m positive only good things will ever arise from.

#89: ABIGAIL LINDSAY
2014 Record: 0-1
Occasionally, we have wrestlers who have a thing for other wrestlers.  Hell, the Scarborough Fair has made a living out of making up such situations through their own sick imaginations. But the way Lindsay obsessed over Neveah Summers was nothing short of creepy.  Luckily, Abigail had her lifelong fantasy of having Neveah lay atop her fulfilled rather early- at One Night Stand, to be exact, and she faded away quickly thereafter.

#88: DESTINY LOVEHEART
2014 Record: 0-5
Here she is!   There’s no question that Destiny was worse than every body ranked below her, but hey, she did last for five matches.  Sadly, Destiny never even came close to winning any of those five, and after serving as a beatdown buddy for a returning Jodie Gray at Chaos Theory, Destiny was shown the boot.

#87: CINDY WARREN
Ranked 101st in 2013
2014 Record: 1-2
Combined with her win over Kanna Haroshi in 2013, Cindy actually ends her FFW Career with a .500 record.  But still, it was pretty obvious from day one that the nurse from North Carolina was over her head and going to get lost in the shuffle, and that’s exactly what happened.  You could say she never had a chance, but at the same time, she never did much of anything to merit one, either.

#86: NICOLE KNIGHT
Ranked 45th in 2013
2014 Record: 0-2
Speaking of getting lost in the shuffle, here’s another one that just couldn’t get her head above water for one reason or another, as her bookings became more and more sparse.  She had one chance to revitalize her career with in a triple threat in May, but came up short to Allison Sullivan.  After teaming with Pure Adrenaline and falling short to Infamous, she elected to hang her boots up, and focus on training others.

#85: WENDY HOUSE
Ranked 41st in 2013
2014 Record: 1-0
After several years as Kara Harrington, Wendy’s far more sinister and evil alter-ego, the lovable House returned to team with Arabella and Lollipop in the awesome, yet short lived, trios team Zombie Chainsaw Massacre.  Sadly, House disappeared for the rest of the year after that, only resurfacing near the end to smack Kate Steele with a shovel (presumably just for the hell of it) in a parking lot brawl.  With her kicking 2015 off with a win over Kanna Haroshi, this year is already looking like a far more brighter one for the popular “other Wendy”.

#84: KAYLEE CLARKE
2014 Record: 2-2
Kaylee started her first FFW tenure off strong, beating Hope Dawson and Sunny Kyoun in her first two matches, but dropped her second two in harsh fashion to Freya and Mel Avilo.  After the Avilo loss, Kaylee took a step back, and elected to isolate herself and retrain, and more importantly, seemingly separate herself from Matt Stone.  Her return in 2015 should be interesting, and she hits the ground running in just a couple weeks.

#83: LEONA VEGA
Ranked 40th in 2013
2014 Record: 1-1
After ending 2013 on a high note, 2014 can’t be described as anything but a disappointment for Leona, who hasn’t been seen in an FFW ring since June 28.  She entered with an upcoming Television Championship shot, but was disposed of by Kelly McGuffin in her attempt.  Her only other match was a win over Candi before disappearing, although she does still remain on the roster.  Hopefully we'll see more of this exciting high flyer in 2015!

#82: WILLOW
2014 Record: 1-3
After teaming with her daughter in the failed Future Shock Season 10 Team Generation XX, Willow reappeared in 2014 on her own, and with a much scarier, more sinister attitude.  While she did manage a win over Nene Abruti in April, her most memorable moment came at Relentless, where in the First Round of the Chase for the Crown, she single-handedly caused her team to lose by flying off the handle at a simple remark, dominoing into a flurry of in-fighting that left her easy pickens for Syren on the other team.  That was the end of Willow in FFW, but hey, if you’re going to go out, you might as well go out in style, right?

#81: JESSIKA HEXSTAR
Ranked 32nd in 2013
2014 Record: 0-1
Jessika’s year-long reign of terror in FFW ended where it started- at the January PPV.  After a year of trying to murder Kate Steele and Kinsey DeCaro for imagined offenses against Samantha Star, my cousin’s only appearance in FFW was in a Ultraviolence Contender’s Battle Royal.  She wreaked a lot of havoc, but was ultimately tossed out by Gigante, and was quickly “reassigned’ by a fed up Samantha Star to SVW.

Got something to say about the Power X? Go ahead. But be careful, Daniel Pollaski WILL respond- and he makes people cry for a living.
