2014 POWER X-TRAVEGANZA (Part 4)

O'QUINN HAS UNDERGONE A DEAFINITE RESURRECTION OF HER CAREER
Hey look!  We're going to have less people to go than we will have people on the roster!

#70: NATALYA DEMIDOV
Ranked 89th in 2013
2014 Record: 4-3
Despite being here all year, the elder Demidov only ended up working seven matches, most involving her partner Destiny Campbell in Art of Violence- a team that’s really yet to gain traction, especially with Campbell the Ultraviolence Champion.   Clearly the highlight of Demidov’s year, however, was teaming with her sister in Moscow, picking up a huge win over Dreambloom in her homeland.

#69: LEAH O’QUINN
2014 Record: 4-3
Considering the epic meltdown she had after being eliminated from Future Shock in 2013, it’s a shocker that this young lady managed to resurrect her career.   But she has, and done well for herself, picking up big wins over Ravyn and Kimmi Hate.  Still, she floundered in her first big break, taking more falls than anyone else in the Ultraviolence Scramble at Anarchy.  Whether she can keep up in the UV division remains to be seen, but this young lady is living her dream, and credit to her for managing to turn things around.

#68: LAURA STEELE
Ranked 49th in 2013
2014 Record: 0-5
Speaking of epic Future Shock meltdowns, Laura had one that defined her year, completely unravelling and taking a cattle prod to Adam Grant, sending him to the hospital.  At that, the locker room and fans were screaming for Laura’s blood, and Cody Kincaid delivered, giving Laura a conga line of brutal opponents that battered Laura senseless, until she took her hoity toity ass back to England.

#67: DESTINY FIGGINS
2014 Record: 1-11 Credit Figgins- she hung in there for seven months and a dozen matches, despite taking brutal loss after brutal loss.  Her lone bright spot came in June, when she managed to get a pin on Mercedes Vargas for her only FFW victory.

#66: KIMMI HATE
2014 Record: 2-8
Kimmi Hate started off strong- runnering up both Future Shock and the battle royal showcase at Byte This, and then pinned Amanda Gray.  It went all downhill from there, however, as the losses began to pile up over the rest of the year.  Still, things are looking up since Kimmi signed on to the New Social Elite, and she has already matched her 2014 win total just a couple weeks into 2015!

#65: SOPHIA BLACK
Ranked 54th in 2013
2014 Record: 1-5
Is this truly the last we’ve seen of a woman who might just be the biggest underachiever in FFW history?  Sophia’s sole win came over Destiny Figgins at Chaos Theory, but after taking losses to Allison Sullivan and Cynthia Warren, Sophia called it quits for the fourth or fifth time.

#64: HAYLEY DARK
Ranked 26th in 2013
2014 Record: 1-1
Hayley only ended up in two matches, but they were both big ones.  The first was coming up short to Kelly McGuffin in a TV Title contender mini-tournament.  The second was much more satisfying- teaming with the Leavenworth Sisters to help beat the snot out of her former tag partner Ignis (and T.R.U.T.H. to boot!) at Unstoppable.

#63: GIGANTE
Ranked 46th in 2013
2014 Record: 0-2
Gigante took two stabs trying to get herself back into Ultraviolence Contention, and neither was successful.  The first was a Battle Royal that saw Gia make it to the final thre.  The second was a mini-tournament where she ran into Emma in the first round.  Unfortunately for Gigante, Emma took that one, and Gigante again was sent to the backburner.

#62: FUJIKO MINE
2014 Record: 4-3
Fujiko showed promise in winning her first three matches, and pulled off a huge upset by wrecking Nessa Wall’s long awaited FFW debut with a miracle rollup.  Unfortunately, her most memorable moment happened at Relentless, when she inadverdently pissed off Willow, triggering a chain reaction that led to her team getting destroyed.  Fujiko was released soon after, her potential ultimately unfulfilled.

#61: STACEY
Ranked 53rd in 2013
2014 Record: 0-3
2014 was finally the year Stacey hit rock bottom, as the once dominant champion who wrestled her first sixteen matches without a loss was reduced to a punching bag for Freya Kane, Valerie Lamb, and Penny Buchanan.  Stacey’s trying to revitalize her career with the formation of the Femme Fatales, and there’s no denying she might do it, but there’s no denying that this once megastar has clearly lost her luster.
