WATCH MAI HOTARU DO SOMETHING TOTALLY AMAZING WITH HER FINGERS- TYPE! |
Hey kids! Remember when I said that we were going to have more guest participation this year? Well, check out this awesome guest column written by none other than FFW's Breaking Point announcer, Mai Hotaru. Who knew she actually paid attention to more things than the bouncing cleavage and her martinis? Anyways, thanks, Mai for the awesome analysis! Everything is posted exactly as it was sent to me. Except for the color. I gave it a color, cause I kinda have a rainbow thing going here. (OOC: Props to Cori for writing this.)
Author’s Note: I’ve decided this year to be slightly more professional, and prove I am worth the salary that FFW pays me. This has nothing to do with the rampant e-mails sent that call for me to be replaced as a Breaking Point commentator. If this proves to get some people talking, I may write future columns for the fat uncouth son of a... Ehem. I may write future columns on the other divisions of the company, particular stars who have my attention (and pay me) and so on. - M.H.

On January 29th, 2015 four women will meet in what promises to be one of the most explosive multi-woman matches in FFW history. For our FFW Champion and Cody’s Favorite Cajun and this match will decide who will be starting what promises to be a merciless gauntlet of challengers knocking at her doorstep.
So I’ll be discussing each of the four women and the ramifications of them winning the Fatal Four Way and meeting Scarlett in Portland.
Crystal Hilton
Hilton had a good showing against your favorite Red Queen but she still fell to Demidov in the end and that is what the history books shall always show (just like a certain match at Unstoppable 2014). Now take a look at the other two women in this match. Crystal doesn’t have the best history of showings against Tara, nor does she have any great showings against Wendy recently. Consider the Breaking Point of October 18th, 2014 for instance. For all intents and purposes that would probably make Crystal the wild card of the match. Every woman in this match needs to watch out for her because she has something to prove. She has the perfect opportunity to avenge every loss she’s ever taken to all three women at once here. So let’s say Crystal walks out of Velocity as the first to face Scarlett, who she is no stranger to if we remember the Femme For All 2013?
If Crystal wins and goes on to somehow dethrone Scarlett? Total chaos. Crystal will shake up the FFW division more than any of the others and I believe that could very much lead to an eventual doomsday scenario. Elimination Chamber for the FFW Championship. Six Femme Hell In A Cell. The possibilities are endless.
If Crystal loses to Scarlett after the Fatal Four Way, I don’t believe that will be the end of her story in FFW Championship contention but I believe she would may be facing Jodie or Val next to climb back up.
Tara Thunder
The image of Tara Thunder at the end of Breaking Point was a powerful one. Here was Mika who has proven to be the face of villainy (yes Stark, villainy. ‘Villain’ is a perfect word to describe women like Mika) and pragmatism in this company. However the moment the Red Queen saw the scion of the Thunder family, she looked as though she’d seen her nightmares made real. Now Tara hasn’t gotten off to the most auspicious start, already falling to Scarlett once and Val as well but I believe that once the roadblocks come off? You’re looking at the monster of the FFW Championship division. Tara has proven she can beat Wendy as of Relentless 2014, she’s never had a problem with Crystal but Tara versus Mika is certainly a question for the philosophers and IWC at large. The image of Tara smearing an opponent’s blood on the FFW Championship after a successful title defense is something I need to see.
If Tara wins and goes on to somehow dethrone Scarlett? That’s a tough call. While I personally would have a ‘shut up and take my money’ moment from Tara versus Mika, I think Scarlett may be the first of the women on Tara’s docket as well as a possible winner between one of the two women who went unpinned by Tara getting their deserved shot. We could see a triple threat of that.
If Tara loses however, her future becomes...nebulous. Where do you put a woman who can knock off all her peers in the division in a single bound, but falls to the Ragin’ Cajun not once but twice in the span of three months? Again, question for the philosophers and the IWC at large.
Wendy Briese
Some people would call Wendy the odds-on favorite to win the Fatal Four Way after the showing she’s had in 2014, knocking off Mika at Anarchy, and SVW’s own Wendigo at a show event, and SVW Champion Colleen “Oooohh....Stop” Harmon at my broadcast partner’s show. I would call those people sycophants who have nothing better to do with their lives. Wendy has proven to have Crystal’s number in the past and although there’s mutual respect between the two of them now, it doesn’t change the win/loss ratio. Wendy did drop one to Tara but she’s also beaten Tara before in big money matches. The most telling however is that Wendy and Mika both have one up on each other so if there’s anyone Wendy may have to watch out for in this match, it may be Russia’s finest export.
If Wendy wins and goes on to somehow dethrone Scarlett? I could easily predict that we may see depending on how the Fatal Four Way ends up, an order of Crystal, Tara, then Mika with Scarlett’s rematch being held off.
If Wendy loses after climbing up to face Scarlett then she’ll likely face the next woman to fall to the Ragin’ Cajun in yet another Number One Contender’s match. Personally, I hope its not Mika simply because I would much rather see the “Red Queen” versus “White Knight” III for the FFW Championship rather than contention again or... Just because.
Mika Demidov
You can call Mika the heir to Isabella’s legacy in this company, but with last year’s awards and her manner of dispatching some of her righteous opponents I would daresay that the Red Queen has long since come into her own. Demidov has a certain charisma in-ring and out that I find would have been at home with some of the the old school deviants of the late seventies and eighties. The days when wrestling territories ruled the United States. Demidov sits at one apiece with Wendy and recently knocked the Femme For All 2014 Winner Crystal Hilton off. Of the four women in this match, she is the one... In one of Scarlett Kincaid’s losses. Who else in recent memory is capable of saying that? Tara Thunder however may be the one factor that the Red Queen isn’t ready for. Its my personal opinion that the tricks that are effective on the likes of Briese and Hilton will have less effect on Thunder.
If Mika wins and goes on to somehow dethrone Scarlett? Depending on who may take the pin that night, I’d say we get Mika/Wendy III or Mika seeing Crystal again. Tara may have to wait a little bit of time to get there but again, depending on the pin she may get an opportunity at Mika at the same time as Scarlett.
If Mika loses then she will be in for a bit of a climb back to prominence. I surmise she would face whoever fell to the Ragin’ Cajun next or even the Ragin’ Cajun herself if she were to fall to a challenger in line. Again, Tara/Mika? All I’m saying is why can’t we have nice things?

There you have it... Our four competitors and what possibilities they may create. Of course this is all conjecture, but who doesn’t like to get a bit of discussion going?
Of course that leaves out everyone’s favorite Queen of Games and a certain redhead...
Just for fun, how about it?
Queen Takes All
If Jodie wins at Chaos Theory against Val, she will continue to stay afloat in the FFW Championship division. Personally, I’m pulling for the “Queen of Games” because she has a talent for bringing raising the prestige of things. Don’t believe me? Some may have found it annoying of our dear “Future Shock Champion of Champions” always talking up her match with Misty or recently how she didn’t tap to Scarlett. I personally see an extreme amount of value in a woman who has a mantra like this. That mantra will make Jodie’s potential ownership the FFW Championship if she attains it downright covetous and that’s what I like to see.
A champion that attached, that dedicated to the belt and the meaning it holds.
By consistently talking about a match she raises the already high stock of her opponents. Repeating the mantra of never tapping to Scarlett impresses a point that Kincaid is a dangerous competitor and her submissions break lesser women. Of course it also makes Gray look better than most but you do have to sell yourself to get ahead, don’t you?
After beating Valerie, I would imagine that Jodie might face off against whoever may be the first of Scarlett’s potentially dispatched challengers. Another victory or two? Title match time for the potential “Queen of Queens”.

Lamb To Slaughter II: Slaughter Harder
Relentless. May 25th, 2013. Valerie Lamb became FFW Champion and the progenitor of the current FFW Championship division we see before us. Don’t believe me? It was Wendy who would go onto dethrone Valerie and the two already shared history both out of this company and in it with the Femme For All 2012. It was Scarlett who would climb back to the top after more or less being sent back to start by Isabella, win the Femme For All of 2013 against Mika and dethrone Wendy in a triple threat with Valerie. Even since, Val has never left the conversation, even if on the tailend. Mika faced Valerie, Tara faced Valerie. Almost everyone who is anyone in this division has faced the woman who is the main event’s gatekeeper.
So what do you think happens if Valerie shuts the gate on Jodie?
Well I imagine that Lamb should be having another opportunity coming to her somewhere in the mad haze of the FFW Championship division, especially if she can’t make the most of facing Scarlett in her own hometown. It may take a few more matches than just beating the “Queen of Games” if she isn’t victorious against Scar, but Val’s road could be paved with her getting a shot at the gold sometime this year. It’s just a matter of gutting the opposition as they trickle down and using them to pave that road. That will start with Jodie Gray, but it could be shortened with a victory over Scarlett.
It is Valerie Lamb’s destiny to be FFW Champion one more time.
It’s just a matter of the others trying to realize that destiny before her.
So there you have it, the ramifications of the Fatal Four Way and just for fun, a little discussion on Jodie versus Val. See? I can be professional when I want to be. Now someone go buy Scarlett an ice pack or ten.
That poor girl is going to need it.
Hotaru out.
