ITS SEPTEMBER!
Football’s back. The leaves are turning. School’s now in full force (or is about to be), the weather’s cooling off, the days are getting shorter, and we’re hitting the home stretch of FFW’s International Tour 2013 and getting ever closer to our second-biggest PPV of the year, Sin & Sacrifice!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, yo.
And so here we are, back to monthly Power X-es, because this shit is just too awesome to do only six times a year. As usual, the eligibility rules are simple- anyone competing in the last two months gets listed, but only the Top 40 are highlighted. There is an exception- if you’ve been released from the company, and haven’t had a match since the last time one of these went up (see: Neon), don’t even bother looking- consider the last one your final ranking.
As usual, the PX is based on several factors- winning, of course, along with quality of competition, frequency of bookings, titles, and general overall feel of which way a wrestler is heading.
Sixty-two women qualify for this month’s ranking, up two from last month. We have ten new faces on the list this time, which means, sadly, eight women that we say goodbye to. They are, with their final rankings attached..
Isabella Pazzini [9th]
Desirae Kain [45th]
Arianna Manning [49th]
Shane Sanders [50th]
Nicole Whitmore [51st]
Neon [52nd]
Hanna Elliott [58th]
Rebbecca Valentine [59th]
Some of those, of course, have left the company, never to be seen again. However, two of those (Whitmore & Elliot) you can expect to see back on next month’s list, as they are scheduled to compete during the next month.
So who’s ready for the rankings? Of course you are! You wouldn’t be here otherwise.
LETS COUNT THEM DOWN!
#62- MARIE REYNOLDS [NEW]
#61- MICHELLE TAYLOR [-1]

DESTINY CAMPBELL
+4
Destiny came out of Unstoppable on a tear, and ripped up Candi, putting her in a hospital for a while. That’s also gotten her a TV title shot, so expect this evil little lady to rise considerably in the coming weeks.
| |

CLAIRE BLACK
SAME
Not much new on the Claire front, other than her being part of the first ever FFW Trios team called Sudden Impact along with the DeCaro girls. Oh, and a DQ win over Sophia Black. That too.
| |
38
MADELYNE MCTAGGERT
NEW
In today’s FFW, if you can work your way into the Top 40 after two matches (esp. Non-PPV), that’s pretty impressive. Needless to say, Maddy is pretty impressive.
| |
37
CANDI
-11
She’s lucky she still has a career after Destiny Campbell almost positively BROKE her. The only reason she’s even this high is her impending TV title shot, and the number of matches she’s had.
| |
36
MILEENA SAVAGE
+4
It was bullshit to the thirtieth power how she did it, but Mileena finally got a win over Stephanie Sullivan. And the No Surrender title shot that comes with it, apparently.
| |
35
HOLLY ADAMS
NEW
Between the two members of the Blondetourage, she might actually be the bigger bitch. Doesn’t matter, really. She’s been adept at backing herself up- so far.
| |
34
SOPHIE RICHARDS
-2
It’s been quiet for Sophie after accomplishing what she wanted- a complete discrediting of Desirae Kain and running her out of the company. What’s next for the British temptress?
| |
33
SOPHIA BLACK
-3
There’s been talk that Sophia belongs in the UV division more than the TV, and I have to agree- four of her past six matches have ended in a disqualification!
| |
32
SAMARA STEELE
+15
Yes, Samara’s absolute complete and utter ass whipping of Laura Steele deserves a fifteen spot jump. It was that glorious. Oh, and it also caps off a five match win streak for Sammy.

JESSIKA HEXSTAR
+5
August was a bit of a bumpy ride for my cousin here. She didn’t really win anything, but she did succeed in making Penny Buchanan throw up, which probably earns her some… very very disgusting points. The way she’s been acting, I have a feeling she has something rather terrible planned for September.
| |
30
HAYLEY DARK
-6
Tragic month for Hayley, as she lost her titles, her tag team, and seemingly her best friend. Cody Kincaid giving her a chance to earn a shot with Gabby was a blessing though. Now she needs to capitalize.
| |
29
KINSEY DECARO
-4
God, those DeCaro boys sure get married fast. I blink and suddenly I’m changing last names in my database. Anyways, that’s pretty much the only thing new for Kinsey right now, although check back after Ten Femme Chaos.
| |
28
ALYSSON GARDNER
-1
Her crowning moment of August was beating Michelle Taylor in less time than her girlfriend did. Her crowning moment of September could be downing Emma Mac and getting a clear shot at the UV title.
| |

IGNIS
+1
Iggy’s done turned nasty, and I’m not all that sure why (although I’m sure being a Leavenworth has something to do with it). But what she did to Casey at Fight Night… a bit of odd role reversal, anyone?
| |
26
MIKALEA DEMIDOV
+3
International Incident had a surprisingly strong debut in the tag ranks, beating NHB in Germany. Can they survive the Hyper Tigers? Early results point to a “yes.”
| |
25
UNDINE
-5
History has repeated itself with Undine, who was ranked 8th in the inagural PX, only to fall into the mid-twenties. What happened in 2011 has happened in 2013. Last time, Tara Thunder was kind enough to temporarily put her out of her misery. This time, Undine can put herself out of her own misery- by winning the UV title back at Sin & Sacrifice.
| |
24
CAMILLA PAZZINI
+7
Chunks attitude took a turn for the worse in Scotland against Fight or Flight. But she acquitted herself rather well in the ring for acting like a total douchebag. So what’s she going to do further to emerge from Val & Isabella’s shadow?
| |
23
KATHERINE STRYFE
-5
Kat falls a bit for not having been in the ring since Unstoppable, but she can certainly pull back by beating Arabella. Easier said than done- Arabella is pesky as shit.
| |
22
STEPHANIE DALLINS
+16
A close call at Fight Night followed by a brilliant performance in Korea (while she had to have been injured still), vaults Steph up into the Top 25. How high are she and Sunny going to be if they net the tag titles at Sin & Sacrifice?
| |
21
SUNNY KYOUN
+14
Dear God. Sunny has hit idol status in Korea, and the rest of the world can certainly see why. Sure, she disappointed at Fight Night, but even winning that battle royal gives her so much credit.
| |
20
JO MCFARLANE
+2
Fight Night was a heartbreaker for Jo, but she honestly showed the most heart I’ve seen out of her since the PYP Ladder Match at Unstoppable II. If she keeps showing that heart, there might be a belt around her waist as soon as the end of the year.
| |
19
EMMA MACNAMARA
-3
Emma’s only won two out of five since coming back full time in May, but they have all ben VERY tough matches that she’s acclaimed herself well in. She has the look and feel of someone who’s about to tee off, and Jodie and Alysson both seem like prime targets in the coming weeks.
| |
18
SERAFINA DECARO
+3
Serafina came SO close to winning Fight Night, only to get nipped out of the final fall by Jodie. KO/TO stuggled to get off the ground, but the Sudden Impact trios squad could be very dangerous in the new division
| |
17
STEPHANIE SULLIVAN
+6
Can’t really fault her for that absolute hosing in Portugal- she did everything right, except get poor Marc Castle to safety. But the time is now for Sullivan- Tara Thunder awaits, and a date with destiny!
| |
16
TARA THUNDER
*NO SURRENDER CHAMPION*
-1
WHY ISNT THIS WOMAN BOOKED MORE?! I hate dropping her like this, but when all she’s had is one six-femme tag match in the past three months… I have to. Still, she’ll have a busy month of September, with Ten Femme Chaos and Sin & Sacrifice coming up.
| |
15
STARLA MCCLOUD
-4
Starla announced her return to the No Surrender division, and was immediately placed among that division’s top contenders. Which means she’ll be watching the Thunder-Sullivan match VERY carefully.
| |
14
MISTY WHITMORE
+3
It’s no suprise to me that when the Blondetourage arrived, Misty was one of their first targets. With her size and upbeat attitude- she’s a bully magnet. But those of us who have seen her in the ring know that tends to be a very costly misconception.
| |
13
CRYSTAL HILTON
-1
The time is now for Crystal to make her move towards the top of the FFW ladder. Beating Kelly McGuffin’s a great start, but the true challenge lies in her sister- and the Femme For All that lies beyond it.
| |
12
KELLY MCGUFFIN
+2
Kelly’s in a bit of a state of limbo. It’s clear that she’s a top contender for the TV division, but there’s been quite a few automatic shots being handed out thanks to some upset. Her future might not depend on her- but J-Will. If Williams upsets Amaro to take the Evolution title, it’s tough to imagine a final showdown with Kelly not following.
| |
11
JODIE GRAY
+8
Love her or hate her, you can’t deny she pulled off what’s probably the best win of her career in the Future Shock Cup. So riding this huge wave of momentum into Sin & Sacrifice, she’ll face… Michelle Taylor? Does this make sense to anyone else?
| |
10
SCARLETT KINCAID
+3
Believe it or not, Scarlett’s entering her first Femme For All this year. After being out of the FFW title picture for nearly a year now (thanks to Isabella), she’ll be more than eager to get on the track to reclaim it.
| |
9
JENNIFER WILLIAMS
+1
Three months after upsetting Eileen in dramatic fashion, Jennifer will get another chance- this time for all the marbles in Eily’s first title defense. For someone who hasn’t been much denied at any level, this could be a huge turning point of her career
| |
8
CASEY ATHERTON
*FUTURE SHOCK CHAMPION*
-2
Atherton cannot have much skin left on her teeth, after surviving tough title defenses against Jodie and Jo. It doesn’t get any easier, either- Ignis is next, and she’s already done quite the number on Casey.
| |
7
LIGHTNING
*TELEVISION CHAMPION*
*UNITY CHAMPION*
-5
Lightning slips a bit due to nonparticipation, but she still remains a double champion, and Of Poets & Prophets the odds on favorites to retain their titles at S&S
| |
6
AIMEE EASTER
*UNITY CHAMPION*
-1
Aimee’s defeat of Jennifer Williams launches her into an Evolution title match. There’s a strong chance that for the first time ever, FFW could be seeeing TWO double champions running around.
| |
5
PENNY BUCHANAN
+2
The Pain Train is 9-2 over the past six months, and the two L’s were both in title matches. You could say third time’s a charm, or you could just look at your left and tell me how a woman like that is ever going to be denied.
| |
4
WENDY BRIESE
+4
The win over Emma got Wendy exactly what she wanted- a date with Val for the FFW Championsihp at Sin & Sacrifice. Now she’s got a bit less than four weeks to figure out how to succeed where she failed last time.
| |
3
KATE STEELE
*ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPION*
+1
Just when you think the bubble’s burst and the Kate-magic might be dying out, we go and get another performance like the one she gave us Thursday night in Busan. Like it or not, she’s not going away, folks.
| |
2
EILEEN AMARO
*EVOLUTION CHAMPION*
+1
It was an extremely emotional month for Eileen, but a hugely productive one as well, as she downed Kate Steele in a near-classic. Do the same with Jenny Williams, and Eily could be well on her way to cementing herself as one of the greatest Evo champs ever.
| |
1
VALERIE LAMB
*FFW CHAMPION*
SAME
Like Eily, Val had a tough month emotionally, competing in her homeland for the first time in four years… then it turning into a disaster as Spectra Fantasia dissolved before her very eyes. With a long-awaited rematch with Wendy on the horizon, Val’s September should be just as stressful as her August.

Got something to say about the Power X? Go ahead. But be careful, Daniel Pollaski WILL respond- and he makes people cry for a living.
