We just keep one-upping ourselves in FFW, don’t we?
Two months ago, Relentless went in the can as quite possibly the greatest FFW Pay Per View of all time. From the opening lag match to Wendy’s return to PPV to Tara’s claiming of the No Surrender TItle to Eileen finally getting gold to Val’s epic dream night, it was an evening worth remembering.
And it absolutely paled in comparison to what we saw Saturday Night.
From the opening bell to the closing moments, it was a full tilt rollercoaster of emotions for the FFW Faithful. We saw perhaps the most successful wrestler in FFW history wrestle her last mathc. We saw three plucky friends overcome some of the most heinous shit (almost very literally) imaginable, and triumph. And we saw a few eye opening results, that signal the arrival of some new blood into the contenders and champions of the company.
So as we do after every PPV, let’s get to the rankings. A few stats first, for the last couple of months
Number of Shows: 8
Number of Matches: 53
Number of Wrestlers Involved: 60
Number of Pinfalls: 40
Number of Submissions: 6
Number of Countouts/Disqualifications: 5
Number of People On the Planet who Honestly Believe Amanda Saint is Sorry: 3
And, as usual with the Power-X, we are forced to say goodbye to some people who didn’t make the criteria to make the list. They are as follows, with their last ranking in brackets:
Arabella Black [35th]
Mel Avilo [46th]
Christelle Gillet [48th]
Maia Lopez [51st]
Melody Williams [52nd]
Alexis [53rd]
Alright. As usual, all sixty women are ranked, top 40 highlighted, with thier pictures and everything!
Let’s do this
#60- MICHELLE TAYLOR [NEW!]
#59- REBBECCA VALENTINE [-10]
#58- HANNA ELLIOT [-11]
#57- JEM MICHAELS [NEW!]
#56- ANGELA HINCHCLIFFE [NEW!]
#55- LAURA STEELE [NEW!]
#54- REBECKA HATE [NEW!]

MILEENA SAVAGE
-8
Savage only had one match in the past couple of months- a star spangled beatdown at the hands of Stephanie Sullivan. The Canuck has now lost six consecutive matches.
| |
39
CLAIRE BLACK
-8
KO/TO couldn’t get it done against the then- tag champs at Byte This, but had a nice rebound to get their first win over Club CK VIP and Hexstar in the go home show.
| |
38
STEPHANIE DALLINS
NEW!
The Powerhouse of the Witches Brew Team, Steph capitalized on a late mistake by the Rudos and Trinity to help her team secure a huge debut win.
| |
37
KARA HARRINGTON
-7
Kara looked strong in a victory over Alysson Gardner, but ended up tapping out to Cupcake in a six-femme tag at Breaking Point.
| |
36
JESSIKA HEXSTAR
-2
My cousin here seems to be more about making impacts outside o matches than in them. And once someone (Read: Kinsey Robinson) gets on her bad side- it’s not a fun place to be.
| |
35
SUNNY KYOUN
NEW!
Is it any shock that the Witche’s Brew took the two top newcomer spots in the rankings? Sunny especially showed amazing heart and courage in overcoming a huge disadvantage.
| |
34
APRIL EVANS
-15
I hope April’s as selfless a person as she pretends to be, because it’s gotta be tough to flounder like she’s been, while watching her tag team partner leap to greater heights.
| |
33
GIGANTE
-5
She got into the scramble, which is more than Becky Valentine can say. But she just doesn’t quite seem to have that final element that would enable her to get the Ultraviolence Title. I would NOT bet against her on finding it.
| |
32
SOPHIE RICHARDS
+4
The long awaited rematch between her and Desirae Kain ended the same way the first match did. Now Sophie will look to try and find the high-level success she’s been missing since leaving the TV Division.
| |
31
CAMILLA PAZZINI
-16
A sixteen spot drop? Yeah, I know its harsh, but like I said, the new system does reward more frequent matches, and Camilla’s been a bit sparse, with only two wins so far in 2013. Don’t expect her to stay this far down for long.
| |
30
SOPHIA BLACK
+7
Now dubbing herself the Black Widow, Sophia’s certainly off to a good start in earning that reputation, beating Jo and Neon in a triple threat match. Like Adam said on Twitter- taking the rules away makes her TWICE as scary.
| |
29
MIKALEA DEMIDOV
+4
Exposed. That’s the best way to describe Mika after her defeats to Jo and Misty. She’s now 0 for 3 on her supposed ‘U’s’, and not nearly as invincible as she wanted us to believe she is.
| |
28
IGNIS
-8
They survived the challenge of Anger Management, but Of Poets and Prophets proved to be too much shenanigans for B&P to handle, and they fell pray to a nasty belt shot thanks to Lightning.
| |
27
ALYSSON GARDNER
+2
Did net what’s turning out to be a growing value win over Sophia Black (even if it was by DQ). But it was obvious that Scramble match was just too much for her.
| |
26
CANDI
+12
Has Candi truly turned the corner? Obviously beating Michelle Taylor is little more than a Charity win, but she has that win over Lightning, and if she can turn the corner and win the TV title- look out.
| |
25
KINSEY ROBINSON
-2
Only one match this cycle, which explains the small drop, but definitely an effective win over Hexstar and the VIP’s. But its clear by know that Hexxie ain’t going away.
| |
24
HAYLEY DARK
-6
A rough couple of weeks for the Boing Machine, first losing to SVW arch-rival Samara STeele, then dropping the tag titles to OP&P. She and Iggy need to regroup for the rematch.
| |
23
STEPHANIE SULLIVAN
+20
You don’t get much better in terms of wins than the one Steph got on Kat Stryfe. Knocking off a Hall of Famer is a surefire win to get her noticed for the No Surrener divison, and what do you know? It already has. She faces Tara at Sin & Sacrifice.
| |
22
JO MCFARLANE
+20
Even though she broke a four match winning streak at Unstoppable, it doesn’t erase the huge run our champion’s sister has been on up to that point. Here’s thinking Jo would love a second crack at Sophia one on one. But she’s going to love even more that shot at the Future Shock Championship she has coming at Fight Night.
| |
21
SERAFINA DE CARO
-13
The chance of a lifetime came for Serafina when she had a chance to face Isabella Pazzini one on one, but couldn’t quite get it done. Things certainly were better when she came in against Hexstar and the VIP’s.
| |
20
UNDINE
-13
Diney has had a BAD month of July, losing all three matches- first getting put through a table by Penny, then losing to KO/TO and Serafina, and finally kissing her UV title goodbye to Kate Steele.
| |
19
JODIE GRAY
+5
For the fourth time, Jodie came up short trying to nab a title, although to her credit, this was by far the closest she’s come, being nipped out narrowly by Atherton. I still believe if she cut the jealousy attitude, and focused on herself, she’d go far.
| |
18
KATHERINE STRYFE
-4
We all knew her HOF induction would be the high point of her weekend, but it became the only good part. Kat Stryfe became the very model of ‘be careful what you wish for’ at Unstoppable, losing to Stephanie Sullivan in a match she practically begged for.
| |
17
MISTY WHITMORE
+9
Misty snapped a four match losing streak at Unstoppable with a strong win over Mika Demidov, giving a rise to all those who have desperately wanted to shut the Ruskie up. Now that her partner has a title, maybe Misty should be getting a title shot too!
| |
16
EMMA MACNAMARA
-7
She beat Kate Steele in a strap match, so it couldn’t have been fun for Emma to watch “Little Miss” walking out of Unstoppable with the UV title.
| |
15
TARA THUNDER
*NO SURRENDER CHAMPION*
-13
Tara drops by and large for the same reason Chunks did- a low appearance rate. Inexplicably, Tara’s only been in four matches all of 2013!
| |
14
KELLY MCGUFFIN
+3
Imagine the shock Kelly and Jenny had when it turned out their SISTERS (in law) hated each other more than they did! Probably doesn’t smooth things out between these two girls any, though. Especially with Kelly’s boyfriend working a movie with Crystal- that from all accounts is quite racy.
| |
13
SCARLETT KINCAID
-8
For the first time in history, Scarlett’s dropped out of the Power X’s Top 10, primarily due to a light schedule- she’s only had 5 matches in 2013. Still quite impressive when she does wrestle, as the Williams Clan unfortunately found out.
| |
12
CRYSTAL HILTON
+4
Even though Crystal had a four match winning streak snapped at Unstoppable, it hardly erases the tear she’s been on, including an upset with her sister of Of Poets & Prophets at the Unity Special
| |
11
STARLA MCCLOUD
SAME
Starla did snap that odd losing streak she had at Unity, but still couldn’t quite get the job done against Valerie Lamb at Unstoppable. With her FFW Title hopes dashed for the time being, it’ll be interesting to see what her plans are.
| |
10
JENNIFER WILLIAMS
SAME
Jenny’s had a busy couple months, wrestling in five matches and winning three of them. And all three of those wins are doozies- over Flight or Fight and Starla; Knocking off Of Poets and Prophets for the first time, and a bonafide stunner over Eileen Amaro.
| |
9
ISABELLA PAZZINI
-6
And that’s it for Isabella Pazzini, who finishes her career where she spent most of it- in the Top 10, having spent more Power X’s at #1 than anyone else. There’s arguments that Meany Pazzini could be the greatest women’s wrestler in history. That’s one I won’t be disputing.
| |
8
WENDY BRIESE
+5
She did it! Winning her first PPV main event in drastic fashion and a come from behind win after being pummelled every which way but legally by Isabella in her final match. Wendy knows what she wants next, and she won’t be shy to say it.
| |
7
PENNY BUCHANAN
+15
TOOT TOOT! The Pain Train had two title shots, and lost both of them. Who cares? This was still an incredible months for Buchanan, who pounded Kate, beat Undine, and took out NHB. That title is a comin, and you better not be standing on the rails when it does.
| |
6
CASEY ATHERTON
*FUTURE SHOCK CHAMPION*
SAME
Casey escaped- and we do mean ESCAPED Unstoppable with the title, eeking out a narrow win over Jodie Gray. She has to turn right back around and defend it against Jo McFarlane at Future Shock Fight Night, though.
| |
5
AIMEE EASTER
*UNITY CHAMPION*
+7
The team may be undefeated no more, but they still have the tag belts. And 9-1 is still freakin 9-1: Not too damn shabby!
| |
4
KATE STEELE
*ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPION*
+23
Sometimes, one single match turns everything around in a heartbeat, and that’s exactly what happened for Kate, who cleaned house and picked up the victory to win her first ever title. Big Match Jenny might have a new rival in town!
| |
3
EILEEN AMARO
*EVOLUTION CHAMPION*
+1
Despite an upset loss to J-Will, Eileen has been her usual strong self. Her High Tide over Trinity’s head in the Six-Femme Tag Match is going to be a highlight played for years and years on end.
| |
2
LIGHTNING
*TELEVISION CHAMPION*
*UNITY CHAMPION*
+19
The last double champion we had ended up in the two spot, so it’s only fitting Lightning does as well, after nabbing two belts in only a span of 42 days. And yes, there were a couple losses sandwiched in between, but what of it? This is one woman who’s literally worth her weight in gold.
| |
1
VALERIE LAMB
*FFW CHAMPION*
SAME
Val took a good lickin’ at the hands of Starla McCloud, but she just kept on tickin’, finally managing to squeeze out an impressive win for her second title defense.

Got something to say about the Power X? Go ahead. But be careful, Daniel Pollaski WILL respond- and he makes people cry for a living.
