525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure,
measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In
inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes - how do you
measure a year in the life?
How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love. Seasons of
love.
- "Seasons of Love" From the Musical Rent
Well, that's one way you can measure a year. Here in FFW, we do things a bit differently. Instead of minutes, we measure in shows. 43 of them. Instead of daylights and sunsets, how about 286 matches? Cups of coffee? More like 188 wins by pinfalls and 54 submissions. 16 countouts or DQs, 21 wins by other methods, and 7 draws. Titles changed hands 17 times, while 19 times got successfully defended. Oh, and we started a brand new title too. Back in May.
That's how you measure a fucking year!
So now let's look back and see who did most of the measuring. 106 wrestlers competed on the main roster on 2013, and every single one of them is in this countdown, which will be spread out over eleven installments, starting tonight, where we look at those lucky women who finished sub-100 in the ranking. Some of them you may have forgotten, but we hare at the power X... we never forget.
EVER.
MARIE REYNOLDS
2013 Record: 0-1
You'll be seeing quite a few "one and dones" here towards the bottom of the rankings, but Marie takes the cake (and eats it too!). Dubbed the "Psycho Centerfold", Marie lived up to her name when, after a record-setting submission loss to Christelle Gillet in her debut, she flew into the rage, and tried to attack the referee. Needless to say, she was promptly fired, never to be heard of again, although her legacy will live on as 2013's worst wrestler!
ELIGHA CIRCOLONE
2013 Record: 0-1
You have to go back all the way to January to remember Eligha, who became the only one and done in FFW history to lose to another one and done, when she flamed out in her first match against Vanessa Bynum.
ARIEL STARR
2013 Record: 0-1
Ariel gets one distinction- she was the first woman to be pinned in FFW in 2013. She was then promptly released from the company at her request due to personal reasons. However, that match became memorable for another reason- the debut of one Candi, who has become one of FFWs more popular cult wrestlers.
KANNA HAROSHI
2013 Record: 0-1
Kanna is still employed by FFW, and actually has a promising career ahead of her. But her debut was hardly auspicious. After bouncing out of Future Shock due to missing the show (never a good idea), Kanna felt the wrath of the debuting nurse Cindy Warren. She hasn't been seen since, but with her hardcore chops, there's no reason she can't make a run in 2014.
VANESSA BYNUM
2013 Record: 1-0
It's not often that you get to leave a company like FFW undefeated, but Vanessa did just that when she beat Eleigha Circolone in her debut, then got a release for reasons unknown. Considering how good that match was, chances are Bynum wouldn't have been undefeated in FFW for very long.
CINDY WARREN
2013 Record: 1-0
You gotta give Cindy credit- there were some that weren't expecting our resident candystriper to even win a match. Well, she did, upsetting Kanna Haroshi, but hasn't been seen since, leaving her outside the Top 100 as the year comes to a close. She can certainly have a much better 2014 however, if she ever does get back in the ring.
NEXT UP: We hit the Top 100! Look at all those blondes! And redheads! And... dear me, the Japanese didn't do well in this countdown at all!

Got something to say about the Power X? Go ahead. But be careful, Daniel Pollaski WILL respond- and he makes people cry for a living.
