FUTURE SHOCK THERAPY: Episode 12.4 Preview

GO GO POWER BLOCK VOTING!

It seems almost inconceivable that in a three-way election of over 706,000 votes, the difference between first place and last place was just a measley fifteen votes, but that is indeed what happened.  It was a perfect three-way split of a vote, but in the end, we had to say goodbye to the highest total... and that went to:

FOURTH PLACE- ADIRA RIDDICK
Unlike the previous two women to be kicked out of season twelve, Adira didn't do anything wrong.  In fact, I had her as the strongest competitor in Season 12 to date, and I think her elimination is the first bonafide bad call by the FFW Faithful in several seasons.  Lily and Rhea are strong, but Adira has outperformed both over the season, especially Laskaris.  In fact, the only reason she wasn't rocking immunity right now was due to a cheap, chickenshit trick by DJ Laine.  Adira earned the right to get a chance to pay the Finn back for that, and now she's not going to get the chance.  That ain't right, if you ask me.

But such as it is.

Moving on, episode four takes us back into the novelty challenges which means no immunity.  Since we're in Atlanta this week for Breaking Point, we're going with a bit country flair, so BULL RIDING.  Always a crowd-pleaser, and not just for the copious jiggle effect (I can see the Rhea Laskaris fans rising as we speak.  In more ways than one).   The only thing NOT crowd pleasing about this is the woman rocking the controls, that being the positively un-jiggletastic (and suddenly unlikeable) Megan Leavenworth, who's going to be taking her frustration over losing the Future Shock Championship to Gabrielle Crimson out on a couple of n00bs.

THE FAVORITE
DJ Laine.  Bull Riding requires a sense of rhythm and momentum management, and as a musician and dancer, Laine has both.  Lily has a chance, but being top heavy on a bull is instant death, so that's going to be a very, very big problem for Laskaris.  Add to that the fact that I can totally see Ignis going easy on her just to piss the rest of everyone off.  But here's the crux- this is a non wrestling challenge.  So that means...

THE HOT SEAT
... that Laine still stands a very good chance of being eliminated, even if she DOES win the fourth challenge.  Laine gained immunity through positively chickenshit means that rubbed a LOT of people the wrong way, and with the vote amongst the other three being practically dead even, that's a problem.  Expect to see damn near every Adira Riddick fan pull their votes from Laskaris and Sheffield and move them to Laine as payback.  If that happens, all that needs to happen is a fraction of those who voted for Riddick to swing to Laine too, and the Finn's sent packing, no matter how well she does.  DJ may have dug her own grave three weeks before her execution.
