Atlanta is a lie.
Atlanta likes to pretend that it's a cute tourist destination, with a big aquarium and an Olympic park, and all the sugary fizz water you can drink. But Atlanta is sinister. Atlanta is where the Olympics blew up. Atlanta is where Sherman burned the city and Rhett Butler didn't give a damn. Atlanta is where tornadoes hit downtown during the SEC Basketball Tournament. Atlanta is where Starla McCloud is from. Atlanta is where Wendy will find out who she will face at Byte This.
Atlanta is the city of death. These will not be matches, but Hunger Games style tests of survival. And bring your hand sanitizer. It's called the dirty south for a reason.
TIFA HEAFY vs. VALENTINA LOZANO
Both women walked out of Anarchy disappointed and with an overwhelming desire to kill Destiny Loveheart. Valentina's also looking for her first win, and Tifa Heafy is damn undefeated against people looking for their first win.
WINNER: I'm not entirely sure Lozano's not all bark/no bite, while Tifa is starting to show hints of living up to her expectation. Look for the Heaf to get a solid win here.
TAG TEAM MATCH
CRYSTALLIZED STEELE (Crystal Hate & Laura Steele) vs. KO/TO (Claire Black & Serafina DeCaro)
After dealing with Elemental Fury on a repeated basis in the Trios department, it's gotta be nice for Claire and 'Fina to face a team that's a bit mroe... oh dear god Laura's actually winning matches now. This... this is not good.
WINNER: KO/TO by the virtue that there is no way in hell that the wrestlling gods will ever be so cruel as to subject us to a Laura Steele winning streak.
EXTREME RULES; GUEST REFEREE- LOLLIPOP
MARLA LEE vs. NATALYA DEMIDOV
This is the match we SHOULD have had to finish Season 12... if management wasn't so abjectly terrified of you assholes actually voting Lana Star into the finale. Considering Lollipop is probably still a bit pissy over being taken out, I wouldn't expect her to simply just count some pinfalls.
WINNER: Unless Lollipop's going to be more involved than she has any right to be, I don't see Natalya winning this. Marla is just a machine in her own right, and Demidov hasn't exactly lit the world on fire after taking her mask off.
CAROLINE STARK vs. HOLLY ADAMS
The moment "Sasha" took her mask off, most people thought Holly had bitten off more than she could chew. Now that Caroline's coming off making the greatest blonde in FFW history tap out to her, people are starting to rejoice for the end of the Blondetourage.
WINNER: I'm not sure Holly, Maddy, and the poof combined will be enough to curb Stark's rage. We could literally see Killer C beat the blonde out of Holly, and force the poor girl to live her life as a brunette.
TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
MISTY WHITMORE (C) vs. DESTINY CAMPBELL
Vox Populi has taken over the airwaves in a force not seen since The Running Man. Campbell is still trying to get over the realization that there's another Destiny in the company.
WINNER: After the tear Misty's been on, it's really hard to see her dropping that belt her first defense. Destiny's still sitting with that "so who have you really beaten" stigma. Misty will be too hot to handle
ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP- STREET FIGHT
ALYSSON GARDNER (C) vs. KATE STEELE
Aly also ponies up her title after having just won it at Anarchy from Penny Buchanan. At this point, we can all thank God for Wendy losing the Evolution Championship in fourteen days (twice!). Should either Aly or Misty lose, it's a lot easier to stomach being grouped with HER if you lose a belt than it is with Michelle Taylor.
WINNER: Kate finally got a much deserved break after going nearly nonstop all year, and she's got one hell of a chip on her shoulder. Look for her to pull an upset in what should be a phenomenal close to FFW's 2013 calendar.
