SHOW RANKINGS: BREAKING POINT 12.14.13 (Atlanta)

THATS IT!  2013 IS DONE!  LAST ONE OUT TURN OFF THE LIGHTS!

Well, that was certainly a wild finish to the FFW year!  We saw two titles get successfully retained!  Twice had brutal slugfests that left the arena in shambles!  Casey Atherton met a bridge player!  The FFW Champion got physically and verbally assaulted!  And HOLY SHIT SCARLETT KINCAID IS NICE AGAIN!   Not that she was ever that mean...

Anyways, as this is the last show and rankings of the year, the totals are set!  And starting soon we will begin the ULTIMATE POWER X-TRAVAGANZA COUNTDOWN.  Ten at a time, from 100 down to 1!

In the meantime... SHOW RANKINGS!

1. ALYSSON GARDNER: Somehow she managed to survive chairshot after chairshot and keep going.  The innovation with the helmet at the end was totally out of my homeboy Terrence Thompson's playbook, and that gets you a Pollaski Seal of Approval.  (PSoA).  Good job to Gardner in retaining, and onto Marla!

2. MISTY WHITMORE: Misty also retained her title, in fantastic, Vox Populi fashion against a surprisingly game Destiny Campbell.  Misty moves on to defend against Leona Vega, another tough, up and coming, challenger.

3. MARLA LEE: Sometimes you have to wonder if Marla is playing all of us for suckers.  Her being upset with Lollipop, while in fact using the distraction to set up one of the weirdest endings I've ever seen, certainly makes you wonder just how many tricks she has up her sleeve.

4. KATE STEELE: Poor Kate just couldn't quite get over the hump and get that win.  Luckily, there's a giant Ultraviolence #1 Contenders clusterfuck coming up.  Probably not too late to sign her name up.

5. CAROLINE STARK: A win by DQ was hardly the way Caroline wanted it done, as she's  been looking forward to ripping Holly apart for a while now.  Chances are there's a rematch sometime down the line, but not in the immediate future.

6. DESTINY CAMPBELL: It would have been one of the most unlikely runs to an FFW belt ever, but alas, Destiny just couldn't quite get around Misty being Misty.  She's going to have to earn another shot by a more traditional method this time, but I wouldn't be surprised if she does.

7. SERAFINA DECARO: KO/TO didn't seem to be all on the same page.  In fact, there was some underlying tension throughout, you could tell, but they didn't let it stop them, rallying to a fine victory over Crystallized Steele

8. HOLLY ADAMS: Holly got a bit desperate.  She wasn't about to take a third clean loss in a row, so the calvary came in, and saved her to taunt Caroline another day.

9. TIFA HEAFY: Tifa's starting to put the pieces together, and she came away with a great win to slide her up the rankings a bit more.  She's got spirit, yes she does.

10. CLAIRE BLACK: Claire had to weather a vicious double-team storm for much of the match, but managed to push through and get the hot tag to Serafina.  KO/TO is a true team, able to work together even when they aren't completely on the same page.

11. NATALYA DEMIDOV: The Assassin is still looking for her first win, but that's not exactly easy when you've got Marla pulling stunts like that.  She needs to find someone who isn't going to trick her into a loss.

12. CRYSTAL HATE: Crystal's 2013 mercifully came to an end, as it was probably one she'd rather forget.  Time to regroup for 2014, and hope its a better year.

13. LAURA STEELE: The Brit Twit had a bad day, coming up short against KO/TO in a tag match where they had the advantage.  Oh, and Rebecka Hate is still probably going to kill her.

14. VALENTINA LOZANO: Still winless, and talking about winning the FFW Championship.  Babysteps, Valentina.  Baby steps.
