The Power X’s Inspirational Thought of the Month
Don’t tell the gods I left a mess
I can’t undo what has been done
Let’s run for cover
What if I’m the only hero left?
You better fire off your gun
Once and forever
He said go dry your eyes
And live your life like there is no tomorrow, son
And tell the others
To go sing it like a hummingbird
The greatest anthem ever heard
We are the heroes of our time
But we’re dancing with the demons in our minds
- “Heroes” by Mans Zelmerlow
Now who’d have thought that myself, Daniel Pollaski, the poster boy of oozing heterosexual masculinity, would be a Eurovision fan?
For those of you who missed this years (which is probably everyone reading this) Sweden’s Mans Zelmerlow pulled off a fairly impressive win in this years contest, beating out Russia’s Polina Gagarina and Italian trio Il Volo to give the Swedes their sixth crown (Sweden’s kinda the Scarlett Kincaid of Eurovision). Unfortunately, the big win wasn’t without confidence, as a lot of Il Volo fans were upset that Italy actually won the popular vote, but lost as the juries voting preferred Mans.
Of course, the FFW knows a thing or two about miserable Italians on the heels of an enormous competition, don’t they?
Isabella Mackenzie’s (nee Pazzini) reign as an FFW executive has come to a sudden, crashing, and very final end, thanks to the heroes of our time- the plucky quintet of Caroline, Jo, Kate, Scarlett, and Wendy who expelled both the demons in their minds, and the other side of the ring, to not only get rid of Isabella for good, but save Cody Kincaid’s job. It was one of those cases where maintaining the status quo was definitely, DEFINITELY the right thing.
So of course, its pretty good to be a member of Team Cody in this month’s edition of the X, although you won’t be seeing any of those five for the first few installments. Indeed, there’s a pretty massive shakeup in the rankings this time around, as could be expected from a huge show that saw several upsets and every defended title change hands. Since the Power X has grown massive, with well over seventy wrestlers being ranked, to save time and build up the suspense, we’ve now chopped the rankings up into four bite sized pieces, which will be posted daily. Today, well, we start from the bottom, which, thanks to an obvious agreement with Satan that she made during May, does not include Steph Stefano
Two women unfortunately drop off the rankings this month- Undine, last ranked 47th, and Sunny Kyoun, 71st,, neither of which has had a match in the last two months. We do gain one woman (don’t get excited), bringing our total to 72. We’ll take it down to 61 today, and dread how big this list is going to get with all the debuts set for June at another time.
Now go sing it like a hummingbird, the greatest rankings ever heard- IT'S X TIME!

Got something to say about the Power X? Go ahead. But be careful, Daniel Pollaski WILL respond- and he makes people cry for a living.
