Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah
I get a feeling that I never never never never had before, no no
I get a good feeling, yeah
Oh oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah
I get a feeling that I never never never never had before, no no
I get a good feeling, yeah
Yes I can, doubt that I leave, I'm running with this plan
Pull me, grab me, crabs in the bucket can't have me
I'll be the president one day
January first, oh, you like that gossip
Like you the one drinking what God sip dot com
Now I gotta work with your tongue
How many rolling stones you want
Yeah I got a brand new spirit,
Speak it and it's done
Woke up on the side of the bed like I won
Talk like a winner, my chest to that sun
G5 dealer, US to Taiwan
Now who can say that, I wanna play back
Mama knew I was a needle in a hay stack
A Bugatti boy, plus Maybach
I got a feeling it's a wrap, ASAP

The Official Theme of Unstoppable 3
Hey kids!
So we are sitting one week away from what will undoubtedly be the biggest show of the year, which will be coming to you live July 28 from Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington!!. Unstoppable 3, the anniversary of the first FFW PPV is upon us, and we certainly aren’t mincing anything this time around. Fourteen matches are on the card, featuring a whopping THIRTY-NINE wrestlers... something that’s gotta be an FFW record. And here’s the kcker- every one of these matches, save for perhaps one or two, is an absolute must watch. And even those one or two are capable of dropping a few surprises on us, I’d think.
Anyways, this column here is to serve two purposes. The first, well, if you’re actually on the fence about ordering this for some reason, well, just taking a detailed look at what’s in store for ya is a bonafide way to push you into our yard. And for those of you who have already hit the “Shut up and Take My Money” button on the cable box, well, this column is simply to torture you. To get you hyped up and screaming, and salivating over the action that you’re in store for.. only to realize its not for another seven days. And then you cry. I laugh at your tears.
Anyways, enough already with the damn intro... we got fourteen matches to get to... so the Power X Unstoppable 3 Preview column... IS A GO!
MATCH I: FATALE COLLISION
What’s At Stake: It’s Nicole Whitmore’s debut match, and when you’re facing the last-ranked person in the company, you could probably call it a must win. Still, what we’ve seen already should be a good indication that Nicole is the clear favorite here. Sarah’s still looking for that spark and moment where she can prove herself relevant.
Expert Analysis: Cody Kincaid
If Sarah Peek cared more about her career and focused better and actually tried to improve, I'd call this a close contest. But as it is, I feel like Nicole has everything to prove. It's not every day you debut on the biggest show of the year. And Sarah has shown me nothing to make me believe she's taking this match any more seriously than all of her other ones. I look for Nicole to take this, and try to impress a lot of people in doing so. Well as much as you can impress with Sarah.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Wow appaently Cody doesn’t like Lucas’ sister either. But it’s tough to argue with him, even if we’re going to finally learn the name of the long-awaited Deas/Peek tag team during Sarah’s upcoming promo (y’know, instead of actually focusing on Nicole). This has debut steamrolling written all over it.
MATCH II: FATALE COLLISION
What’s at Stake: Basically, this is just a pecking order match, between two women that have virtually no history with each other. Obviously though, both are going to be wanting victories in the worst way, Steph for her newfound momentum, and Tabby to try and regain the magic she had at the start of the year.
Expert Analysis: Camilla Pazzini
This should be a very interesting match. Stephanie has come back into the FFW limelight recently, and started to establish herself, though her husband’s band Eternal Suffering seems to be causing her eternal suffering... heh. No doubt she’s looking to pick up a big win on pay per view and get her career heading in the right direction. However, that may be easier said than done against the forgotten woman of FFW, veteran Tabatha Belmont. We haven’t seen much of Tabby since her best of three series with FFW alumni Elizabeth Blackwell, coming out on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline, and I wonder if this has anything to do with Cody’s absence (he’s a big fan of Tabatha). She could use this win as much as Stephanie could, and with both women desperate for the W, this could go one of two ways. Either this match will be insanely good, or overly cautious. We can only hope for the former, speaking as fans.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Uh, Chunks? Eternal Suffering is causing EVERYONE eternal suffering with their godawfulness. Anyways, given how Stephanie managed to fluke her way to a win over Mel Avilo, we might actually see a more lezzie match than we did when Tabby faced Elizabeth Blackwell! Either way though, as much as I hate to say it, Stephanie Sanderson’s actually riding on a winning streak, while Tabby’s sat dead in the water for months. As much as I’d love to see the Belmont rise up and shut Stephanie up for once, I don’t think it’s gonna happen.
MATCH III: TORNADO TAG TEAM WAR
What’s At Stake: Well, actually... we don’t really know yet. As of print time, the Tag Team titles are NOT on the line, but that could be changing at any damn minute. We know that Amanda Saint summoned the champs in for a meeting at Velocity, but all parties have been tight lipped about the outcome. So for now, win or lose, Team Adonis is walking out of this the champions. Which means that this match is all about pride, and I think Bounce & Pounce is okay with that. Casey and Ignis have a history that has gone back for over a year by this point, and it’s gone to the boiling point ever since Casey screwed Ignis out of Future Shock Season 7. Hayley and Starla don’t like each other either, but that’s NOTHING compared to the animosity between their partners.
Expert Analysis: Wendy Briese
I love watching tag team matches, just because the strategy involved is so much different than singles matches. You need great chemistry to function as a long-term competitive tag team, and surprisingly, both of these teams have that. I guess its not surprising for Hayley and Ignis, they’re two peas in a pod. But I’m amazed that Team Adonis hasn’t self-destructed yet. And even more so that they actually won the Unity Tag Team Titles, although they sure can chalk up an assist to Adonis with that (Adonis probably has more assists than John Stockton at this point, lol). Hopefully Alex will stay out of it, because this match NEEDS to be decided by the four women in the ring. I’m glad my manager’s offered his services for this, because I don’t think Carson’s going to be able to stop any shennanigans, and if he gets hurt, Arabella’s going to come in, and everything’s going to go haywire. Ignis and Hayley deserve this win, and Team Adonis need to be humbled, just like every other member of the Power Trip. So I’m crossing my fingers and going to pick Bounce & Pounce!
Pollaski’s Prediction: Oh yeah... that’s right I *DID* offer to come out and keep Adonis in check (something I’m DAMN good at, thank you very much!), and last I could remember, Hayley took me up on it. Anyways, all four women have shown spats of vulnerability over the past couple of months. Starla was flat-out exposed at Conviction, while Casey sure looked vulnerable in the Future Shock finals, not to mention when Ignis ripped her a new one a couple weeks ago. Hayley’s gone down to Wright, and both members of B&P lost to Team Adonis a few weeks ago as well, thanks to more Adonis shenanigans. Everything points to a breaking point for Hayley and Ignis, and if Team Adonis is aligned in the cross-hairs at all... Bang. Or should I say Boing?
MATCH IV: GOOD FRIENDS, BETTER ENEMIES
What’s At Stake: While you could say that the winner of this is going to be in a clear line of sight of the Evolution Title, this match is all about pride. Both have been good friends for years, but both suddenly find themselves on opposite ends of the brewing power struggle, with Dallins on the Power Trip, and Amaro very clearly in the Mackenzie Mafia’s camp. The big question is how deep will the two let this rivalry get personal-wise? They might just accept their roles and keep it just business, or this could turn into the most epic implosion of [the year.
Expert Analysis: Crazy Crazy Millar
This contest holds a lot of intrigue for me. Of course, there is the whole “former best friends” subplot to kick things off, combined with their respective Power Trip/Mackenzie Mafia alliances. I agree the Mafia is necessary, basically to stop my old nemesis Pazzini and the Power Trip running roughshot over everyone, but considering Ryan’s former Power Trip alliances... well, I don’t exactly trust him. Just throwing that out there.
Aside from the soap opera surround this contest, the match itself is a potential show stealer. Both women are technically sound in the ring, and both have something to prove. Caroline has made an emphatic start to her FFW career, but this is her first big money match, and she has to show Samantha she can be counted on to get the job done. As for Eileen, the FFW “One to Watch in 2012” has found herself in her share of big matches, but still has to nail down that consistency. Much like another favourite of mine, Desirae Kain, she has shown she can go toe to toe with the big girls, but unlike Desirae, she hasn’t had the championship gold to show for it. I see no reason why Eileen couldn’t become Evolution Champion soon (she already ran Tara damn close for the title) but she needs to start picking up a few more wins in the big matches. As a result, this match is critical for both women, and that makes it damn near impossible to call.
Granted, the fans will be behind Amaro, but truthfully, I’ll just be sitting back to watch what should be a classic wrestling match. And with any luck, I’ll get to call it. Either way though, this has definite Match of the Night potential.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Personaly, I can’t believe that this match is fourth from the bottom on the card. Which goes to show just how fuggin stacked this whole show’s line-up is. Even with Eileen prevailing over Caroline in the tag match on the last Velocity, I think Caroline is coming in with a slight advantage. She’s stuck all her PPV matches thus far, and Eileen has withered somewhat when the lights become the brightest. But Eileen’s never wanted a win as badly as she wants this one, so I think that in the end, it will be the Tsunami picking up the first major victory for the Mafia of the night.
MATCH V: FUTURE SHOCK EPIC COLLISION W/ SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE ARIANNA MILLAR
What’s At Stake: For those of you who are die-hard fans of Future Shock, this right here is something of a dream match for you, as it features arguably the two most successful FS Rookies to date. Both are two-time champions (Sophie in TV, Desirae in Tag), and both have been consistently ranked in the Top 10-15 for most of the past few months. But there’s a personal animosity here too. Sophie hasn’t hesitated to give her opinion on the troubles of Pink Inc- which has almost exclusively consisted of her throwing Desirae under the bus. This match comes down to one thing- where will Arianna’s loyalty ultimately lie?
Expert Analysis: Scarlett Kincaid
This match could easily be the match that steals the show. After all we have Sophie Richards - easily the greatest Television Champion in FFW history arguably the greatest Future Shock rookie and a highly accomplished technical wrestler with a long history in this sport as a competitor and commentator. Across the ring is Desirae Kain - a woman who has been a shooting star since joining the roster, a two time tag team champion, for whom causing an upset is second nature and is the other woman in the argument for the tag as the greatest Future Shock rookie. I know it’s often the belief that it’s styles that make matches and in this we see a clash between Sophie Richards - very much a technical wrestler - and Desirae Kain - a speed merchant who is happy to use the ropes to fly through the air and innovate her moves. Tension between these two have been ratcheting up thanks to their respective relationship with Arianna Millar. Stood in between them however is the ‘X’ Factor - Arianna Millar. Will she show call this match down the middle? If so then it comes down solely to who is better the wrestler. Sophie Richards has seemingly been the cooler head between the two which may give her the advantage...but I know as well as anyone how much of a motivator anger can be if harnessed correctly. If, however, Arianna chooses one side or the other...then one girl is in for a long night with a mountain to climb.
Pollaski’s Prediction: The bottom line here is simple- the winner of this one will be whoever Arianna wants it to be. And judging by her previous history of shrill overreaction and duplicity... I think it’s going to spell a bad night for Desirae Kain.
MATCH VI: CHASE FOR THE CROWN 3, FIRST ROUND- SIX WOMAN TAG MATCH
What’s At Stake: Well, someone’s career is going to get launched into the stratosphere, and we’re going to find out who quickly. Unlike the first two Chase for the Crowns, this edition is going to have wrestlers already well-accomplished in FFW. Williams just won Future Shock Season 7, Jo won the Pick Your Poison Battle Royal at last years Unstoppable, and Lumina made the finals of the No Surrender tournament, upsetting Summer along the way. Kelly came in hot, and just narrowly missed out on a chance at the TV title, as has Crystal Hate on several occasions. The only one who hasn’t quite gotten there yet is Sabra, who’s the most recent of the six to join the roster. That can all change this week.
Expert Analysis: Cara Stone
Six-women tags are a hard thing to pick...because well, they’re chaos. I know, I know. They’re not SUPPOSED to be chaos. There’s a referee and there’s rules and there’s supposed to be structure and everything, but that’s never how it turns out. Referees can barely keep track of two people or four people at a time in regular matches, six people is asking a lot. So this one is going to break down at some point, and because I don’t see either of these teams dominating the other - Spitfire will be more cohesive as a unit and will blend with Hate’s brutality pretty well while Kelly, Lumina, and Jennifer have all shown that they are some of the most capable wrestlers in FFW-- what this match is going to come down to is whoever can take advantage of that chaos when things do break down. Who will be quick enough to hit that move and pick up that pinfall, and who will be aware enough that they can stop anyone from breaking it up.
What do I think? I don’t think that ring awareness has been in spades for Jo, Crystal or Sabra based on their recent ring work. They’re talented enough to pull it out, especially in that sort of environment, but Jenny thrives on chaos, Kelly’s style is suited to it, and while Lumina is more technically sound, her recent performances have shown me a bit more than her opponents. So, if I was a betting woman (not that I am), I would say Team JenniKelLumina is going to pull it out at the end, but no matter who wins, in a match like this, it’s going to come down to who can capitalize on those few chaotic moments.
Pollaski’s Predictions: See I’m calling ‘em Team 10-11-12 (look at the first letter of each of their given names). And while I agree with Cara that from a talent perspective Kelly, Lumina, and Jennifer are likely more loaded, tag team wrestling has proven time and again that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. That’s good news for Spitfire, who have struggled to turn the corner as a tag team, but have an excellent chance of doing so against a discombobulated opponent. Hence, why I think It’s Jo, Sabra, and Crystal moving on to round 2. That’s bad news for Crystal.
MATCH VII: FOUR WAY MATCH FOR THE TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
What’s At Stake: Summer’s Television Title, which has never successfully been defended in a four-way match, something that’s become kind of a signature match of the division. Both Jodie and Mel have been TV title mainstays (although Mel’s lone title shot thus far was against Tara Thunder for the Evolution), while Lightning’s really getting her first chance at any belt in FFW, having more or less been forced to feast on Cheers and Jeers for the majority of her early matches.
Expert Analysis: Shane Sanders
Aside from the fact that I was completely unaware we even had a "TV" title, my interest in this match is very minimum. However, I agreed to write this for Danny-boy so let me be the first to say, I hope that Lightning walks out of Seattle as the new champion as she is the only woman in the running I can stomach for longer than fifteen minutes.
Our current champion, Summer, is far too busy drooling over her boyfriend the webmaster. She tweets like an emo teenage girl which pretty much negates any respect I have for her as a wrestler.
Jodie Gray--queen of games. Congratulations. You're another dorky kid in a pair of tights wreaking of convention funk. I think she was in Future Shock--the American Idol of FFW. Contrary to popular belief, a few months in a ring doesn't make you worthy of carrying a title.
Mel Avilo. I know nothing about this broad other than I think she's friends with Jo. Easily forgotten. Easily replaceable. Easily overlooked.
That leaves Lightning. Whether you like the elemental sisters or not, they're fierce women who make their presence felt. I'm more partial to Undine, however, I am confident if anyone deserves the TV title it's a Leavenworth.
In a nutshell, four women go in but only one comes out victorious. Here's hoping she's worth the time it took for me to write this up.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Well, luckily for Shane and her attenton span, as fast paced as some of these women are, fifteen minutes is probably the upper limit of how long ths match is going to last. I’m peggng Summer as the favorite here- this woman has been on a tear, despite her “drooling and tweeting like an emo teenager”. Lightning looks like a strong dark horse pick, but at the same time, she has absolutely zero experience in matches that absolutely matter, and that could come back to haunt her. Mel’s inconsistency is a huge problem for her, and it’s obvious that somewhere in the last few months, Jodie missed a step or two. The funny thing about Four-Way matches though, is that anything can happen, and Summer’s three seconds away from losing this thing at any moment- and she doesnt even have to be involved in the decision to lose the belt. That opens this up for surprises.
MATCH VIII: THE PASSION AND THE FURY
What’s At Stake: A lot of momentum, which both of these women badly need. Colleen’s returning to the ring (in FFW) after a four month absence that saw her life completely and utterly fall apart, to the point where it’s only now becoming stitched back together. Katherine Stryfe has finally broken her cringe-worthy eight month losing streak, and after her loss against Scarlett, shes got a long road to get back into the FFW Championship picture. It starts here again- for both these women.
Expert Analysis: Christian Kincaid
I will never be part of the fan club for either of these women, though I can respect Colleen more as someone who is fighting a daily battle to overcome her demons. Good on her, but shy of a surprising win over Sabra, Katherine has shown me little to give me the belief she's turning over some new leaf. If she wins, she will shock a lot of people. But I've also rarely seen people make returns like this and drop the ball. Don't see Colleen being the exception, not on the biggest stage of them all.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Tough to argue with CK here. The ring rust question would come into play, but the moment Colleen hit the battle royal over in SVW, she put those concerns to rest. There’s some doubts to the veracity of Colleen’s penitence and renewed drive, perhaps deservedly so. But I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, especially against a Kat Stryfe who’s only barely begun to stop the bleeding, much less repair the damage to her own reputation.
MATCH IX: INFERNO MATCH FOR THE ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
What’s At Stake: The Ultraviolence Championship, of course, which Cara is holding and Raven is looking to regain at the exact same event she won it at last year. In fact, you’re looking at the last two women to beat Camilla Pazzini, the Queen of Ultraviolence. This is also Raven’s first PPV match in eight months, and her first time in an FFW ring since January, so she’s certainly going to want to be returning with a splash. Add in the high-stakes implications of the infernao match - one of these women is literally going to be set on fire- and you’re looking at a literal powderkeg here.
Expert Analysis: Mark Horton
To me, the Ultraviolence division is where people who have a screw loose want to compete. And that's not a knock on the women in it, but to me, wanting to compete in a division where matches like this can happen is not indicative of clear mental thinking. Cara has been very good about surprising people, and Raven is coming off a long layoff. I'm not sure what Wicked has been doing other than enjoying her silent husband (Perfect man for any woman, right?). Cara's been competing in two companies in that time, holding gold in both. I think this one could be Cara's for the taking, but too many possible variables make it difficult. Raven doesn't have to pin her or vice versa, all I know is someone is going to burn and I hope neither are seriously injured as a result.
Pollaski’s Prediction: This will be the second inferno match in FFW history- the first being Camilla vs. Katherine Stryfe for the UV title back in April 2011. There’s a reasoin why this match is held once every fourteen months at the most- it could quite possibly be the most dangerous match in FFW outside of Hardcore War. Luckily, no one was hurt the first time, but Raven’s likely more sadomasochistic than Cara, Camilla and Kat combined. Will that translate into a win? Past history indicates “no”. Outside of her win over Camilla in the Prison of Punishment, Raven’s struggled in UV title matches, against both Chunks and Rose Jenkins. That gives the advantage to Cara... but remember, this is a match that can end VERY quickly. One mistep is all it takes for part of you to ignite, and your hopes of victory go up in flames (and hopefully a very very quick burst from a ready fire extinguisher)
MATCH X: THE RETURN OF THE LEGEND
What’s At Stake: More than would initially appear, actually. Of course, this is Valerie Belmont’s return match, having been sidelined for a full year, first due to an injury, then to having her second baby. Obviously she’s hoping to hit the ground running, and with Allison Wright in the other corner, getting fired up for coming back won’t be a problem at all, since these girls have a pretty bitter history that dates back to the EWC. For Allison’s part, this is her fourth PPV match in FFW, and the third against a Scot. She lost the first two, both against Emma MacNamara, and considering that Val is 2-0 career against her (or so I’ve been told), then she’s definitely going to want to put the incoming Vampiress in her place. Either way, the winner of this is going to be coming out of the PPV with a hell of a lot of momentum.
Expert Analysis: Caroline Dallins
As I type this up, it continues to rain outside of the warehouse I've been working out in. Florida's bi-polar weather, I swear. Anyway, let's look at what we've got here. Valerie Belmont returns to face off against Allison Wright. After one year out of action, Val dusts off the ring-rust, laces up her boots and prepares to take it to the 'sightless superstar'. I'm sure if I were to ask Valerie, the FFW landscape has changed since she was last in action. However if she wants to make an impact, she's looking to start off things right and a victory on her return would do it...
However, Allison Wright probably isn't all that interested in being Valerie's "step" back into being a staple of FFW. I'm sure if these two women know each other as well as I'm led to believe, then Wright is more concerned with using Valerie Belmont as a stepping stone to further her own career. So that's what I think this all boils down to. Two women, wanting to use this match on the brightest stage of FFW to either restart a career, or shoot it into the stratosphere. Usually you bet on the one with the storied career for these things (Valerie) but I feel like if Allison is hungry enough, this could be her time.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Val’s probably a clear favorite here, if just for the purpose of nostalgia. But I agree with Caroline here, Allison’s got a great chance here. She needs to keep up the pressure. This is Val’s first official match in a year, and I don’t care how many times your daddy kicks your ass in training, you’re going to have some semblance of ring rust. If Allison can keep up the pressure and overwhelm Valerie from the get go, she can wear her down, and we will be looking at a huge upset, at least in the eyes of many a fan.
MATCH XI: ONE TIME ONLY!
What’s At Stake: Well, it’s not every often that someone gets a free shot at the owner of a company in a wrestling ring- even one who’s proven to be as unpopular as Samantha Star. Miss Demeanor gets that chance, and considering what she’s done to Ms. Star on the occasions she’s gotten ahold of her previously, it could look like a carte blanche ass-whupping. But Ms. Star has to have some tricks up her sleeve. Whether or not they’ll be genius shenanigans or just another strongarm, I’ll leave it up to the future to determine.
Expert Analysis: Rori Mackenzie
It’s safe to say that there will be a death at the upcoming PPV. Center of the ring in SAFECO Field, Samantha Star is looking to take on Miss Demeanor. A woman that Cody had signed personally. A pathetic joke of a wrestler, and woman. A colossal failure in every single aspect of her life.
Now, everyone knows that attempting to murder a person of management is SO last year, and that it gets you nowhere, not when the person in management is the god damn owner of the company. Let’s face the facts here; Miss Demeanor needs to find a shit load of talent to even stand a chance in the ring with the single most powerful woman in any wrestling business.
I’d say that Demeanor is a sitting duck that she has no chance when it comes to Samantha and the Power Trip, but I’ll also give the devil her due, no matter what you try to do to stop her, she doesn’t go away, she doesn’t stop coming back, and even when you think the bitch is gone, she’s not, she’s smooth talking the idiot COO and getting her god damn job back. I knew I should have done us all the favor and killed Cody when I had the chance . I get it though she’s angry with Samantha for canning her, she’s pissed off, and her rage is what is going to fuel her. It’s alright Demeanor you can try to end Samantha's life but it's NOT Samantha’s time yet, I've always said you can't kill a devil.
On the other hand we have a VERY smart business woman, powerful, endearing, perfection. A woman who knows exactly how to get what she wants, and has pawns in the front line to protect her. There certainly is a reason why Samantha is the queen of this business, why FFW is the single biggest company not only in the USA but around the world.
Samantha is sickly smart, she knows exactly what she is doing and will never step into a fight that she knows she will not win. Like I said she’s the queen, she’s got all the moves, and even when she has another up her sleeve. Truth is Samantha used Demeanor once before, and she’ll make an example of her this time around too.
There is NO way that Samantha is going to lose this; there is NO way that Demeanor is going to walk out of this match. And she will get the same parting gift that Jenny Stryfe got care of the power trip, a one way ticket out of the arena on a god damn stretcher. And to think, thanks to Miss Demeanor, I got my job back.
<3 Enjoy the fight folks
Pollaski’s Prediction: Don’t look at me like that, guys. She volunteered, I had an open spot, so yeah. Remember kids, the last time Samantha was in the ring as a competitor, she got completely destroyed by Gabriella Manning, and from the looks of things, Miss Demeanor seems far more capable of wrecking her shit than Gabby was. Obviously, there’s gonna be bullshit here. I don’t buy for a second that Samantha wants all members of the Power Trip banned from ringside. But I have a feeling Miss Demeanor might be onto Samantha here. She knows her games too well. And that is why Samantha’s second official FFW match will go about as well as her first did.
MATCH XII: EVOLUTION CHAMPION VS. NO SURRENDER CHAMPION- WINNER TAKE ALL
What’s At Stake: Um... everything? Tara is coming into the match by far the most successful Evolution Champion in history, while Wendy’s yet to successfully defend a championship. However, a victory would make Wendy the first wrestler in FFW history to hold two separate titles on two different occasions. This is essentially a match that is going to separate the “elite” from the “really really good” in the eyes of the fans, and the loser here is going to be pretty devastated- at least from a pride standpoint if not in FFW’s heirarchy.
Expert Analysis: Starla McCloud
Champion Vs Champion with both titles on the line and the Power Trip are coming home with more Gold following this one. I know Pollaski will probably be scoffing at this statement and will likely follow this up with some pitiful attempt at balance in favour of his (substantial) meal ticket. However the truth is that the No Surrender Champion has only ever had the most tenuous grasp on the Championships she’s held in this company. This match pits probably the most forgettable and pitiful Evolution Champion in history against the GREATEST Evolution Champion. Tara has been pretty much unstoppable since she picked up the belt, rolling over all comers and picking up more and more momentum as she does so. That run will continue at Unstoppable. I know people will tell me that this match is weighted in Wendy’s favor due to it being contested under No Surrender rules - and yes I am big enough as a person to admit that Wendy is as better as a submissionist than 99% of the roster, that she beat me with a submission (and an awful lot of help from the jackass who asked me to write this preview because he was too busy stuffing twinkies down his throat to do so); but Tara, like me, is in the 1% better than her therefore no advantage for your darling little hero. Don’t believe me, look at just how many matches Tara has won when asking her opponents “Who’s The Bitch Now?!” Briese already holds a win over Tara - albeit in a ladder match - but on the biggest stage with two titles on the line, Thunder will avenge that loss and make Samantha Star a very happy woman.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Yeah... I cringed too when I realized that I was letting Starla McCloud write this. Obviously, you all know who I’m picking here, because I’ll stand behind my client to the end. What you should expect here though is the match of the night- Wendy seems to have this annoying quality of bringing out the best in her opponents, and I doubt Tara is going to be an exception. Also expect this one to stay clean- unlike the rest of the Power Trip, Tara places a very heavy emphasis on self-reliance. There won’t be any shenanigans here- just one very clear- and very pride-filled winner.
MATCH XIII: PERFECTION VS. POISON
What’s at Stake: A lot of hatred. 75% of it which makes no fucking sense to me at all. But god DAMN do these women hate each other. There’s a good reason why this match is second to last on the show: just in case things get out of control and someone actually dies, we’ll only lose one match with the Seattle Police Department shuts the show down. Albeit the main event, but still, better that then the main event plus seven mother matches.
Expert Analysis: Jennifer Williams
So I have been selected to analyze the epicness of the Poison versus Perfection match which will put Rori Mackenzie against Crystal Williams. Yay for the changing of names on both sides! Anyway this match has been building up for some time. Ever since that mean old jerk face Will Mackenzie was two timing Crystal and had secretly married Rori on the side. I won’t take the bias route and automatically assume Crystal is going to win because to be honest her 2012 year has been nothing close to perfection. Her last Pay Per View came back at Cold Blooded when she defeated the likes of Isabella Pazzini in the Parking Lot Brawl but at the same time we really don’t know what Rori is going to do inside the ring. We haven’t really seen her compete inside a ring since Sin & Sacrifice of 2011 and that can be a very long time to not compete.
Rori and Crystal both seem to be determined for this match, a match that was first started over that dark prophet himself, that lying slithering snake Will Mackenzie. However we have shifted away from this being about Will but this is now a battle over two women who really despise one another. Rori injected her poison into the midst of all of this by interfering into one of Crystal’s matches when she struck her with a baseball bat, but despite getting hit my sister still propelled herself to keep fighting.
This is really weird because this match features two women that the locker room just loves to hate which is weird in itself because for some reason the crowd loves Crystal’s jerk face attitude don’t ask me why though. What we have here is two polar opposites. This is like the Xbox 360 competing with a PS3. Rori being the X box being the queen of the first person shooters. She is looking to kill and destroy Crystal at all cost but at the same time my sister is like a Playstation. She is the Queen of the RPG and as we know in RPGs anything can happen. The unexpected seems to happen.
What twists and turns will happen in this match remains to be seen. However I will say this Rori’s strong will to destroy Crystal is at a stale mate with Crystal’s never say die, never surrender attitude. I have seen Crystal with a broken nose, getting hit with a bat yet through it all she refuses to stay down. Rori is determined to be that poison that destroys her.
Those two personalities just come to a draw with one another and we have this never ending cycle of psycho bitch fest fits.
It’s the battle of the Perfectionist versus the Poison….
It’s the Unstoppable Force against the Immoveable object…
It’s Sony versus Microsoft…
It’s everything wrapped up in one little match…
Not to mention that Will being at ringside would be a factor but Crystal’s husband Todd being there as well kind of counteracts that. Rori is looking to physically hurt Crystal but Crystal and Todd know how to bend the rules and play sneaky sometimes…This match can honestly go anyway…
If it comes down to a fist fight it goes against my conscience but I gotta give the nod to Rori but if this remains a wrestling match I have to back Crystal…
As far as a winner goes I will have to say the locker room because if both women beat the crap out of each other and neither can walk away the world will rejoice I know you will Dan….
So anyway those are my thoughts… Go Crystal…. Please don’t hurt her too much Rori I am begging you…. This is SpiderJen slinging out….
Pollaski’s Prediction: ...that might be the most noncommittal thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Anwyays, yes, the prospect of these two women hurting each other greatly does amuse me to no end. And not just because I’m evil. Anywyas, the way I see this is, we all know how Rori’s tricks play out- she’s ruthless and damned effective with her bullshit. Crystal was gulled by Shane Sanders, and Shane’s got NOTHING on Rori when it comes to shameless bullshittery (two matches proved that). So while I’d love to root for the literal lesser of two evils here, I think ultimately, it will be Rori Mackenzie walking out the winner. Let the hate mail flow.
MAIN EVENT: SCRAMBLE MATCH FOR THE NO SURRENDER CHAMPIONSHIP
What’s At Stake: The FFW Championship, officially held by Isabella Pazzini, but vacant in the eyes of many a fan considering the way she won it. And the battle lines have been drawn: the Power Trip has 3 members in, the Mackenzie Mafia has 1, plus the referee. But while Scarlett isn’t an official member of the Mafia, she has about as much love for the Power Trip as Emma does, so if it comes down to it, they will be allies. Anyways: the rules are this: two women start, another woman enters every two minutes. Although Isabella starts off the “provisional champion”- any pinfall/submission does NOT have to involve her. Whoever gets that pinfall becomes provisonal champion, and so on until all thirty minutes have elapsed, at which time the provisional champion leaves Seattle with the belt.
Expert Analysis: Colleen
Huh, figures I get this one. Look, I could go on and on and break down this person by person, look at logistics of how they fight, analyze skillsets, point out weaknesses, and everything else, but let’s face the facts, people. I am not stupid, and the vast majority of you aren’t that stupid. We all know this match comes down to one thing.
Ego.
The Power Trip has three people in this motherfucker. Three. The opposing “team” has one, and then there’s Scarlett Kincaid, the most technically sound woman in the match, all by her lonesome. And no, it does not fucking matter that Ryan MacKenzie is in charge. Because if he screws the Trip, he’s gonna be the same fucking thing Samantha is and his whole crusade will be a failure, and he can’t do a damn thing about Samantha’s people working together to eliminate the competition. That’s well within the rules. So again, it’s about ego. Plain and fucking simple.
Can Kitty Stryfe, Isabella Go-Fuck-Herself and Shane “The Hypocrite” Sanders set their egos aside long enough to really take out the competition and make sure the Power Trip walks away with it? I honestly don’t know. Those are some massive egos, and they all want that belt. They all want it badly, no matter what they say about “the team”. Still, they’ve been pretty dedicated to the cause so far, so who knows. All they have to do is work together long enough to make the other two a non-factor. If they can’t however...that leaves the door wide open, and there’s no question in my mind that Emma and Kincaid are more than capable of seizing that opportunity and snagging the championship out from under Samantha’s squad. So...it’s up to them really. The Power Trip, I mean. How long can they go before inevitable moment when one of their egos gets in the way, and will it be at a point that matters? That’s the key, folks. At least from where I’m sitting.
Pollaski’s Prediction: Okay, first of all, throw out the whole ‘luck of the draw’ factor. Because whoever gets the number 5 spot will be in at the six minute mark, which means that they’ll have to endure for twenty-four minutes, which isn’t all that much better compared to a full thirty. Any advantage they’ll have from being fresh will be gone in about four, and they’ll still have twenty minutes to endure. Second, this is an individual match, and the longer we go, the more this will break down. I dont buy for a second this “so long as a member of the Power Trip leaves with the belt” bullshit. Once that last five-ten minutes hit, it’s going to be every girl for themselves, and whether or not this affects the dynamic of the Power Trip in the future, that’s going to have to sort itself out later.
If this were a single fall match, or even an elimination match, I would probably pick Scarlett Kincaid to win here, based on recent performances (Emma and Shane both struggled, Isabella’s win was bullshit, and ‘recent performance’ and ‘Kitty Stryfe’ do not belong in the same sentence at the moment). But the hard-time limit on the match means that anyone can and will happen. If you get a freak rollup pin with five seconds to go, you win.
I see two basic strategies here to win this. One would be to goldbrick like a mother fucker, staying the hell out of the way, and coming in strong the last five minutes- although if anyone gets wise to you, it’s going to backfire hard. The other would be a sadistic edge- use the first twenty five minutes to injure and cripple the other competitors, and pick off anyone still moving at the end. Scarlett’s too prideful to take either route. Which means that I think the two most capable of playing this game are Kaitlynn Stryfe and Isabella Pazzini. I might hate her, and I might think it was bullshit a month ago, but I think Isabella is going to be walking out of here the FFW Champion- unless Ryan Mackenzie decides otherwise, of course.
And there you have it, kids. Fourteen matches all set to go, each given expert analysis by me and some of the other talent that makes this company so great (and Rori Mackenzie too). And dear god, peoople. If THIS doesn’t convince you to pony up and watch the damn show, I don’t know what will. Go back and read the damn column again. Don’t argue, you probably missed something telling you just how awesome ths show is. Just shut up, and let us take your money. You won’t be disappointed.
But until that big awesome holy shit day arrives (1 week), well, unfortunately, you have to wait.
Polla Out.
