Power X- September 29

Once again, its time for wrestling manager and analyst Daniel Pollaski to go over the news, reviews, and previews of Femme Fatale Wrestling! All content is the sole opinion of the author and does not reflect the views of Femme Fatale Wrestling, its wrestlers, or administration. Or Wendy Briese, for that matter, so don’t go jumping her in the hallway if you get butthurt about this. Bitch.

The Power X inspirational thought of the week:

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends
Like my father's come to pass
Seven years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends
Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are
As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends
Ring out the bells again
Like we did when spring began
Wake me up when September ends
Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are
As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends
- “Wake Me Up When September Ends” Green Day

Hey kids!

Oh, and... BUZZ! BUZZ!  BUZZ!  BUZZ!  BUZZ!

There’s your alarm clock.  Rise and shine, cupcake!

The tumultuous month of September is over, and as we move into the final quarter of the year, we step back and admire the newness that seems to be permeating the FFW landscape.  After all, Sin & Sacrifice saw all four singles belts leaving with new champions.  We continue to get new wrestlers, seemingly every week.  (Now with Tabatha Belmont!  Yipee!)  And now a new look, much shorter Power X.   But no less awesome.

RANKINGS!
Alright, here’s the deal.  The fact of the matter is that these columns are taking too damn long to write, and are kinda burning me out, especially when I have other, more important things to focus on.  And, really, it’s absolutely excruciating to have to pretend to give a shit about the Lovehearts and the Deas’ and Simply Flawless and Mindy Smyth.  So starting this week, the focus of the Power X will be on the top 25.  Everyone still gets ranked, but I’ll be only doing full entries now for those in the upper echelon.

Three dropouts and four additions this time around, which means forty-seven eligible wrestlers this week, a new all time high.  And even more continue to join, although we will be saying goodbye to a handful of girls next week as well.  This week, it’s a surprising farewell to Whitley Mercer (last ranked 27th), who’s focusing on her studies at Louisiana Tech.  Also dropping out is Kara Harrington (28th), although she’s certainly still on the roster.  And gone, seemingly for good, is the luckless Kadence Whesson (45th)

For this weeks current crop, well, here are the unlucky 22 women who just ain’t good enough to merit my full attention.

#47- LILAH CARTER [-1]
#46- CHARITY DEAS [-2]
#45- DESTINY LOVEHEART [-2]
#44- SYD ASHLEY [-2]
#43- FAITH [-2]
#42- GRETCHEN SANDERS [Returning- Last Ranked 26th on July 18]
#41- MINDY SMYTH [-1]
#40- DEVEN KNIGHT [-1]
#39- STEPHANIE SULLIVAN [-1]
#38- HANNA ELLIOT [-3]
#37- MADISON KNIGHT [No Change]
#36- LUMINA FERRARI [No Change]
#35- KASSANDRA [-4]
#34- SOPHIA BLACK [-1]
#33- CHARLOTTE GAGE [-4]
#32- ALYSSA FOXWORTH [NEW]
#31- ALLISON DEAS [+1]
#30- JO MCFARLANE [-4]
#29- SARAH RICHARDSON [+1]
#28- EMMA MCINTYRE [-4]
#27- REBBECCA VALENTINE [-4]- FFW UNITY TAG CHAMPION
#26- ARABELLA DE ROSSI [NEW]

Of those, expect to see Carter, Sanders and Deven Knight off the rankings next week, for various reasons.

And now... THE TOP 25!

#25- DESIRAE KAIN [NEW]
The season 4 Future Shock Champion hit the ground running as part of the official Roster at Sin & Sacrifice, when she helped lead her team to victory in the first round of the Chase for the Crown.  Right now, I still have her pegged for the finals, but that tornado tag match at Breaking Point (in which only one person gets eiliminated) is going to throw a lot of wrenches into the system. But for the Questionable call of the week... Arianna Millar? REALLY?

#24- ALYSON SUMMERS [-2]
And as we make way for the next season of Future Shock rookies to enter the main roster, we’re saddened (not really) to report that this will be Alyson Summers’ final ranking.  Despite winning Future Shock’s third season, Aly never really found her identity here, and she was quickly over shadowed by the likes of Ignis and Casey Atherton.  Oh, lest there be any confusion, that was a ragequit.

#23- EILEEN AMARO [+11]
Now that she’s no longer saddled with a shitty tag partner and trying to overcome one of the best wrestlers in the company on short notice, Eileen finally has a chance to settle into herself, and focus on working her way up the ladder.  If her stubborn outing against Colleen didn’t put you on notice, her brilliant performance at Sin & Sacrifice will.  I said I have Kain for the finals, well, I have Eileen there too.  And I have Eileen walking out of there the winner.

#22- IGNIS [+3]
When you don’t compete at a PPV, you merely sit in the water as the tides jostle and flow around you.  In Ignis’ case, it worked out to her advantage.  But her big moment comes at Byte This II, when Bounce & Pounce goes up against the Eternally Lame in a nontitle match.  We’ve had problems coming up with clear cut #1 contenders for the tag belts but a win here will make it very obvious who the biggest threat to the champs are.

#21- HAYLEY DARK [No Change]
Golly gee, you sure hope Hayley knows what she’s doing here, that’s for sure.  Hayley surrendered her bid for the Television Championship this week, deciding she wants to focus with Ignis as Bounce & Pounce.  While that cringingly gives the title shot to Tabatha Belmont, we gotta hope that Hayley and Ignis can put themselves into that tag belt.

#20- KELLY MCGUFFIN [-2]
Like Ignis, Kelly mostly just rode the waves, and got pushed a bit further out to sea.  No worries- she’s still hotter (in more ways than one!) than any Future Shocked rookie at this point.  But for the second straight cycle, she finds herself sitting out.  One more time, and she’s going to be off the list entirely.

#19- CRYSTAL HATE [+1]
A solid win over Jo McFarlane, and Crystal just keeps creeping herself higher and higher up the ladder.  You have to say her inclusion in the Femme For All was a surprise, although it really isn’t an unwelcome one.  But I can’t see her downing Stacey MacKenzie- at least the Stacey MacKenzie of the hype.  BUt if she can overcome Stacey, and pop the hype bubble, and get herself into the second round, we’ll all be looking at Hate in an entirely new light.

#18- CASEY ATHERTON [+1]
Apparently Casey likes her wins the way she likes her sex with Alex Adonis- quick and dirty.  Casey might not be the true winner of Season 3, but she’s turning out to be the most successful transition to the main roster.  With Aly jumping ship so quickly, there’s really not going to be any dispute about that.

#17- PAYTON ST. PIERRE [-3]
From an actual wrestling standpoint, that probably was the best showing we’ve ever seen from Payton.  But unfortunately, Sophie wasn’t going to be denied.  Had Payton actually let the cage with Will inside drop, I’d have probably kept her on the same line she was.  But alas, Will MacKenzie is alive, and I have to move Patyon down.

#16- STACEY MACKENZIE [No Change]
Given that she just took the current champion to a time limit draw in a match that many people think Stryfe stalled in, you know that Stacey’s practically salivating at the thought of winning the Femme For All and facing Stryfe for the title.  Well, first things first- and she has to get by Crystal Hate.  That *should* happen, but it’s not like we havent’ seen upsets in FFW before.  And even if Stacey gets by there, there’s still a lot of talented wrestlers in this tournament between her and the end.

#15- STARLA MCCLOUD [No Change]
Considering the likes of Colleen and Wendy Briese, I’d think that Starla McCloud automatically being the first ever FFW No Surrender Champion is a bit of a premature one.  But still, Starla seems content to wait for that title to come into play- which should be shortly.  In the meantime, a showdown with ex-stablemate Isabella Pazzini’s in order

#14- RAVEN WICKED [-3]
Raven’s no longer the Ultraviolence Champion, but there’s no denying that she had a hell of a lot of fun out there.  It seems to be a telling point that you win the UV title twice, so chances are that we’re going to see Raven taking another chance at the title- and she’ll probably even manage to outdo herself in the “WTF” department!

#13- RORI SNYDER [-1]
It’s tough to allow any movement one way or another after that trainwreck of a hell and a cell, but thirteen seems just a fitting number for Rori, considering that this girl is nothing but bad news.  Scarlett may have been the one who jumped, but it was Rori who took the brutality of that match to the next level.  Of course, Rori is going to be hospitalized for a while, which isn’t really a bad thing.  I suppose finding out that her larynx got crushed and she’ll never be able to talk again is probably too much to hope for.

#12- ROSE JENKINS [-3]
To be honest, when Raven cut open Rose’s forehead in the Crimson Masks match, I was half-expecting motor oil to come dripping out.  That’s how much of a machine Rose has been over the past couple of months.  I don’t see her slowing down after that, either.  Rose’s only match in the next cycle is that battle royal at Byte This II, and you know that she’s going to be the single hardest person to eliminate in that.

#11- SOPHIE RICHARDS [+6]
FFW TELEVISION CHAMPION

Sophie got her belt back, and in a big way, defeating longtime rival Payton St. Pierre.  Still, it was a bit... disconcerting to watch Sophie at the controls of the Shark Cage.  Not so much that I minded Will dropping to his death, but Sophie looked almost... gleeful over the prospect.  I think there might be a sadistic side under Sophie trying to fight its way out.

#10- TARA THUNDER [No Change]
The bad news is that it was only Lilah Carter.  The good-news is that was such a thorough and complete ass kicking that when the time came down for me to right the method of victory in my match record (y’know, pinfall, submission, etc.) the only thing I could think of was ‘total annihilation’.  Surprisingly, Tara’s off this next cycle.

#9- ROBBYN HELMSLEY [-2]
Robbyn just got unlucky with the ebb and flow here, but she’s got an excellent chance to move up in the next week, when she faces Emma McIntyre in the first round of the Femme For All.  Given that Emma apparently forgot how to wrestle during her time off, this should be a solid win for Supergirl.  And honestly, Robbyn can’t go around losing to wrestlers her cousin Rori BEAT (other than Colleen), now could she?

#8- CAMILLA PAZZINI [+5]
FFW ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPION
Chunks is BACK!  Two months after being stunned by Raven, Camilla turned around and took the Ultraviolence title back.  About the only thing that could have made Cammy’s night any better is if she could have made Rose bleed herself.  But she didn’t, and I think the door is wide open for Rose to come roaring back for her title.

#7- WENDY BRIESE [-2]
On the surface, it looks like Wendy lost a ton at S&S, dropping both the Evolution Championship and any chance she had at being in the Femme For All.  But in reality, considering how close she and Crystal have been in that ring, it could be expected that the pendulum would swing the other way once in a while. You know, and I know, and everyone knows that there will be a rubber match in the near future, and you can bet that people are going to be salivating for it.  In the meantime, Wendy has to settle for trying to win a battle royal, and taking any remaining frustrations out on Charity Deas.

#6- CRYSTAL HILTON [+3]
FFW EVOLUTION CHAMPION
Crystal’s return home was a successful one, as she took down Wendy in what was almost certainty a must-win match for Hilton to remain relevant at the top of the card.  Accomplishing that puts Hilton in a very strong position, as she can sit back and relax and watch the first round of the Femme For All unfold, knowing she’s safe.  Well, not too safe, because she’s got Chunks on her dockett, and Cammies packing just as much momentum as Crystal is!

#5- ISABELLA PAZZINI [-2]
Nothing against Isabella, and it’s more like people moved up around her than her actually moving down.  Honestly, Isabella’s at a crossroads- she’s obviously out of the FFW Championship picture, considering Samantha’s latest machinations.  But to go down to the Evolution Championship would be a considerable, and unnecessary step back (and it’s likely that Sam’s gonna keep Isabella away from ALL titles for the time being).  There’s only one thing left... REVENGE.  She starts on that road this week against Starla.

#4- COLLEEN [+2]
It’s DAMNED tough to keep Colleen down for long, and she proved it again, winning an absolute technical classic over Emma McIntyre.  Is Colleen the favorite in the Femme For All?  I hate to say it but, yeah.  She is.

#3- KAITLYNN STRYFE [-2]
I think if you were to look back in March, and say that Kitty was going to go on a near-six month winning streak, win the FFW Championship, but then lose to Katherine Stryfe on her first defense, your normal FFW fan would have given you a wedgie. Then a noogie. Then a swirly.  And then probably followed it up with a few Indian rug burns.  But, here we are, which just goes to show that everything is unpredictable in this business.  Still, Kitty only needs wait until October 20th, and she can get that belt back around her waist.

#2- SCARLETT KINCAID [No Change]
Like Rori, you can’t really move Scar one way or another after that Hell in a Cell.  Unlike Rori, there’s no ironically significant number nearby that I can properly move her to.  That being said, the truth is that Scarlett’s career might actually be over, so it really doesn’t matter worth a damn where I put her.  Right now, the poor girl is trying to cling to life, and being able to breathe on her own.  Scar is truly a shining light in this business, and we can only hope and pray that light isn’t extinguished.  We love you Scarlett, come back to us!

That being said, I have a message to anyone who even THINKS about blaming Cody Kincaid for what happened here:  Fuck.  You.  Seriously, the guy’s beating himself up enough over what happened, and he doesn’t need trolls to harp on it.  A normal match between these two would have seen a double DQ almost immediately- that’s how deep the hatred ran here.  And any other match type, and it could have just as easily gotten out of hand.  The only other alternative would have been to not even hold the match, which would have probably led to someone’s brains being splattered all over a backstage hallway.  What happened is a tragedy, but it’s what goes down sometimes in this business.  We should all be focused on keeping Scarlett in our prayers, than pointing fingers, or mocking the severity of this situation.

Sorry, had to rant there.

#1- KATHERINE STRYFE [+3]
FFW CHAMPION
And you’re fucking welcome.  Because let’s be honest here, without me, and without this column, Katherine Stryfe isn’t here, or anywhere near here for that matter.  Before the Power X started, Kat couldn’t win a decent match to save her life, no matter who she was facing.  But, yours truly started taking the mickey out of her each and every week, and suddenly, a fire got built under her ass, and she used that (along with the luckiest fucking breaks you could possibly ask for, not the least of which being her husband Jacob), and now Kat is the FFW Champion.  So a big congratulations to her, but she really does owe me some sort of a commission for my efforts.  Enjoy the title Kat.  And try not to give it back to Kitty in a month.  I don’t know if I have it in me to propel your scrawny ass back up the card again.

And that’s that!  Bitches, whines, and complaints may be posted below.  Or on Twitter.  Or written in blood (not mine, please) on the bathroom walls (also, not mine, please).

INCOMING!
So, like I said, we’re shortening things up here, so no more blow by blow account of the upcoming shows, and predictions.  Still, its nice to look ahead to see where we’re going, so let’s take a look ahead at the three upcoming shows in FFW.

VELOCITY- October 6 in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK!  PASTERNAK!  MICKEY MANTLE! KEROUAC!

Erm... sorry.  Focus of this show is the Femme For All’s first round, and we’ll see three matches to determine who joins Crystal Hilton in the second round.  Honestly, all three matches have clear cut favorites, although if anyone’s going to be pulling the upset, it’s the other Crystal (that’d be Hate), against Stacey MacKenzie.  Colleen should cakewalk against Kassandra and Robbyn has a very good odds on beating Emma.  Also on the show, we’ll see Sophia Black try to crush Charity Deas’ throat just like she did Gretchen, and newcomer Gia Van Zant dealing with perennial underachiever Lumina Ferrari.   Main event is a blockbuster though, as Isabella Pazzini goes against former Power Trip friend and current A-List enemy Starla McCloud.  After the beating she was given a few weeks ago, you know Izzy’s going to want to tear this

BYTE THIS II- October 11 in San Francisco
We celebrate Columbus Day with our second Byte This, which will come from Golden Gate Park (provided it’s not raining, as it tends to do in Bay City in October) and benefit Action Against Hunger.  Even if you show up late, don’t fret, come on down, because let’s be honest, the opener of McFarlane & Elliot isn’t going to be all that riveting.  After that, however, things pick up with Bounce & Pounce looking to make a huge statement against The Eternal Flame in tag competition.  But the highlight will be the battle royal, with 10 women.  You have to think that Rose, Colleen, and Wendy are the pegged favorites, but Eileen and Casey Atherton are definite dark horses in this must watch event.

BREAKING POINT- October 16 in Toronto
There’s a theme here too, and that’s A-List plus easy matches.  Jo McFarlane actually has a chance at a win against Mindy Smyth, and we see the debut of the new Superteam the Violent Femmes, when they tear apart the Lovehearts.  The easy ones aren’t confined to the A-List, however, because Wendy gets to rebound against the hapless Charity Deas, and the incoming Queen Machine tears up Rebbecca Valentine.

But that’s not to say there won’t be good matches here.  The Second Round of the Chase goes down, a tornado tag with VERY interesting teams.  Here’s the catch- only one girl is going to get eliminated, so all you need to do is make sure you’re not the one getting pinned.   Honestly, I see strategy here very similar to the capture the Queen match in Future Shock 3, and you can bet that someone’s going to try and screw over someone else (and i will be very sad if that someonee else is Eileen Amaro).  Oh yeah, and Crystal Hilton toes it up with Camilla Pazzini in a champion vs. Champion match in the main event.  Now that will be epic!

AWARDS!
And finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for.  Unfortunately, Danny once again forgot to contact someone about doing these.  Luckily, an unexpected savior showed up at the Aggression taping earlier this week.  So even though I can barely stomach the guy, I figured why not have the main eventer at an SVW PPV give us his opinions on the FFW PPV?  You know, one where he WASNT getting his ass handed to him by our girls.

Yes, kids.  God help us all, Johnny Moxie’s doing awards.  If you keep reading.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

MATCH OF THE WEEK- Wendy Briese vs. Crystal Hilton
I’m not a fan of either. Wendy annoys me and always has ever since I’ve known her and Crystal…..well I pretty much zone out every time the bitch speaks. But not everyone can ooze with charisma like yours truly, huh? Anyway, this two out of three falls match that they had really stole the show at Sin and Sacrifice and like it or not, it outshined the main event title match. I pride myself on being a connoisseur of great back and forth action and this had it all. Ups, downs, twist, turns. There wasn’t much more you can ask for, really……besides maybe a drunk midget thrown in there somewhere.

She probably doesn’t want me bringing this up, but Wendy doesn’t exactly have a very positive history with drunk midgets and wrestling PPVs.  Anyways, so far Mox is one for one!  The disappointment’s evident over here in my neck of the woods, but after watching that tape, you can damn tell that both women fought their hearts out.  Wendy just spent too much trying to rebound after Crystal’s cheapo pin, and Hilton capitalized in the end.  Runners up!
- Scarlett Kincaid vs. Rori Snyder: Not so much of a match as a crime against humanity, but nonetheless, this had us glued to our seats right up unitil the final, horrific ending.
- Crystal Hate vs. Jo McFarlane- A dark horse MOTW candidate, this oine was nonetheless massively entertaining.  It was a great showcase to show just how Crystal Hate is coming into her own, and it’s gotten her into the Femme For All.

WINNER OF THE WEEK- Katherine Stryfe
Okay, I’ve never been much of a Belmont fan. As a matter of fact, I helped light Kat’s brother Liam on fire in the back of a car and sent him barreling into a wall. If that don’t sum up my feelings for that family, nothing will. But all attempted murders aside, Kat managed to walk away with the FFW Championship at Sin and Sacrifice. Granted, she owes Jacob Stryfe a big assist for helping to make her FFW’s first ever dual champion.

Mox is now two for two!  You really can’t give it to anyone else, although there are a zillion candidates for the runners up
- Eileen Amaro- First win, and it’s a big one!  It’s nice to see Eileen finally working her way up, and given the prize of the Chase for the Crown, a thorough notice should be dealt to...
- Sophie Richards- Finally got her revenge on her longtime rival, and in the most gratifying way possible- by making Payton beg her to stop.

LOSER OF THE WEEK- Emma McIntyre
So Charity Deas or neither of the Lovehearts had a match at the PPV, which means they can’t be up for this (which, by the way, this award is probably the only thing any of them will win, ever). I’d have to give this dubious honor to Emma McIntyre. I find it rather ironic that she was brought in as a troubleshooter of sorts for the Mackenzie Mafia but has struggled to really get one over on anybody not named Loveheart. She suffered a big loss to the A-List’s Colleen at the PPV and seems to be speeding downhill at an alarming rate. If you put an S in front “Hit Girl”, I think you have the perfect way to sum up Emma’s big return to FFW thus far.

Sometimes, those big name free agent acquisitions just don’t work out.  Like any quarterback the Minnesota Vikings get.  Now, I’m not comparing Emma to Donovan McNabb... but no one likes him either.
- Scarlett Kincaid- Screw the match.  Scarlett may have just lost everything with one ill-advised (yet completely understandable) jump.  Again, speedy return, Scar.  We love you.
- Wendy Briese - Tough pill to swallow, but Wendy now joins Michelle Taylor and Sophia Black for the record of shortest title reign in FFW history.  It was a tough turn around, but that’s hardly company you want to be keeping.

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK- Sophia Black
So the bitch that everyone knows and loves has decided to come back! I was happy to see Sophia get back to her bitchy, violent self though I’m pretty sure that someone who wasn’t as happy about it all was Gretchen Sanders. You know, for a moment I felt bad for Gretch. She’s been away for a while, just came back and now finds herself out of action again. But the joy of seeing Sophia going back to her old ways kind of drowned out whatever sympathy for Gretchen I had.

God, even I couldn’t watch that, and considering that Gretchen’s one of the nicest, most humble girls to ever grace the roster, it just was horrible.
- Rori Snyder- Anything Scarlett did during that match was only in reaction to Rori, who managed to take the obscene to a whole new level.  At least on the bright side, since Rori IS a douchebag, there’s decent odds that the doctors at the hospital might actually chuck her in the dumpster with the rest of the medical waste.
- Tara Thunder- Apparently gratuitous, career ending violence is the order of the day down here in the DBOTW award section.  Yeah, what Tara did was technically legal, but let’s be honest- as futile as Lilah was, that match should have been over WELL before her arm snapped in two.  There’s taking liberties, and then there’s Tara Thunder.

And that does it for yet another Power X installment!  Remember to join us next time, as we begin the climb towards the final PPV of the year... VIOLENT NIGHT!

Oh yes, kids.  We’re only just getting started.

POLLA OUT!

Daniel Pollaski is an freelance wrestling columnist, and the manager of Wendy Briese. He also would like to ask any women’s soccer clubs looking for a prospective striker to give Nikkii Spainhower a shot.  Seriously, Millar’s STILL spitting out his balls.  El-oh-el.

POWER X- 9.15.2011

Once again, its time for wrestling manager and analyst Daniel Pollaski to go over the news, reviews, and previews of Femme Fatale Wrestling! All content is the sole opinion of the author and does not reflect the views of Femme Fatale Wrestling, its wrestlers, or administration. Or Wendy Briese, for that matter, so don’t go jumping her in the hallway if you get butthurt about this. Bitch.

The Power X’s inspirational thought of the week:

Stage lights flashing,
The feeling's smashing.
My heart and soul belong to you.
And I'm here now, singing.
All bells are ringing.
My dream has finally come true.
Stage fright, go away,This is my big day.
This is my time to be a star!
And the thrill that I feel
Is really unreal.
I can't believe I've come this far!
This is my time to be a star!
- “My Time to Be a Star” Lynn Minmei (voiced by Reba West)

Hey, kids!

Sorry, letting my inner otaku come out this week as we head towards FFW’s fifth PPV of 2011.  And while the banal lyrics and squeaky voice of Reba West aren’t exactly endearing to the eardrums (think of Minmei as Robotech’s version of Justin Beiber, right down to the dates of popularity), its one of those insufferable songs you just can’t seem to get out of your head.

Besides, come next Saturday, it could be many, many people’s time to be a star.  After all, Katherine Stryfe could become the next FFW Championship (but don’t hold your breath.  Rori Snyder could defy the odds and critics and beat Scarlett Kincaid (again, don’t bet on it).  Either Wendy or Crystal could launch themselves into the next level of the FFW heirarchy with a win in a two out of three falls match (almost certain).  And four women will make it to the next step in FFW’s latest opportunity to let some of the newest talent shine (mathmatically impossible to not happen).

ROUNDUP!
In my attempt to make the Power X as entertaining and informative as possible, I always try to think of new things to add, to make the column fresher from time to time.  Last week’s addition of the “Sound Off!”  (which will return later!) was one of the ideas.  As we’re coming to the end of our current “PPV Cycle” I thought it would be a good idea to remind people of the five main events that got us to where we are now.  So here they are...

VELOCITY 8/18: Crystal Hilton def. Belladonna (pinfall)
BREAKING POINT 8/27: Kaitlynn Stryfe def. Colleen (pinfall)
VELOCITY 9/1: Rori Snyder def. Emma McIntyre (pinfall)
BYTE THIS 9/5: Kaitlynn Stryfe def. Crystal Hilton (pinfall)
BREAKING POINT 9/10: FFW EVOLUTION CHAMPIONSHIP- TRIPLE THREAT LADDER MATCH: Wendy Briese def. Colleen © & Tara Thunder (title retrieval)

Some pretty damn good matches in the last few weeks, no?  And a big congratulations are in order to Kaitlynn Stryfe, Crystal Hilton, and Colleen for managing to give us two awesome show-enders apiece!  As to everyone else- these are the matches you’re striving to be in, kids!  This is what FFW is all about!

Also hillarioius to note that out of the eleven participants in the last five main events, one name is noticably missing: Katherine Stryfe.  That’s right folks- the number one contender to the FFW Championship isn’t even deemed worthy enough to main event a single television show.  Really says something about management’s faith in Kat to seriously contend for this championship, doesn’t it?

RANKINGS!
A bit of shuffling going on this week, but no real spectacular movements.  Once again, we set a new participant record, with a whopping FORTY-SIX women taking part this time around, including two returning stars and five newcomers.  With a growing roster, and longer shows now, I’m anxious to see just how many we can manage to cram into one of these.

Unfortunately, we’re also saying goodbye to five other women as well, who either got bounced from the company or just haven’t had a match in the required amount of time.  Those ladies are:

SHANE SANDERS [Last Ranked: 22nd]- I actually had to g back and go through my notes t make sure this was the case, but yup.  Shane hasn’t wrestled since her loss to Rori Snyder at Unstoppable, and she’s not scheduled for Sin & Sacrifice.  It’s understandable, really, considering her dealings with suddenly becoming a mother.  Still, we hope that Shane’s back in the ring soon!  Dirty Deeds need to be done dirt cheap!

BELLADONNA [36th]- This one’s no surprise.  Belladonna was released after her disappointing showing against Crystal Hilton.  And not a fuck was given.

MICHELLE TAYLOR [37th]- Thank you, Rose Jenkins!

TRACI LOVEHEART [38th]- The mere fact that we haven’t seen Traci Loveheart competing in well over a month makes my heart sign with the joys of a thousand springtimes.  Good riddance

ANGEL KASH [44th]- She came, she lost, she got futured endeavored.  Pretty sad, when you consider that even Mindy Smyth was allowed to have a second match.

So, to Shane Sanders, hurry back!  To the rest of you... GOOD RIDDANCE!

As for the current rankings?  Who’s gonna be a star?  We’re about to find out.

Let’s count em down!

#46- LILAH CARTER [-2]
Lilah’s independent streak hasn’t gone quite as well as I think she’d been hoping.  A quick loss to Kassandra was bad enough, but she’s about to open up Sin & Sacrifice by facing the clearly-superior-in-every-facet-and-pissed-off-to-boot Tara Thunder.  Hope she got a great picture of Lucas Peek running from her- that’s likely going to be the highlight of her month.

#45- KADENCE WESSON [-3]
To be honest, I’m not even that sure if Kadence is even in FFW anymore, as I haven’t heard any word either way.  For the time being, I’ll assume she is.  Hopefully, she’ll get a chance and get back into the ring and show that her pratfall against Kara Harrington was a fluke.

#44- CHARITY DEAS [-4]
For just a second, I think Charity must have felt relief upon having a sister who was actually talented.  Then that relief turned into a genuine moment of “Oh shit!” for poor Charity.  And a genuine moment of hilarity for the rest of us.

#43- DESTINY LOVEHEART [-2]
The Destiny Loveheart fuitilty train keeps on rolling, pulling into the loss stop this time after tussling with Sarah Richardson.  Entry level victories ahoy.

#42- SYD ASHLEY [-3]
For just a couple of seconds, Syd Ashley had the upper hand, and it looked like Simply Flawless was going to actually get a win.  Then Allison Deas got into the ring.

#41- FAITH [-6]
So here’s an interesting tidbit on Faith.  Her FFW-online biography says that she is 29 years old.  It also says that she has a 19 year old son who’s training to become a professional wrestler.  Excuse me while I do some math here, but...

#40- MINDY SMYTH [-8]
Before she got clubbed like a baby seal against Kelly McGuffin on Breaking Point, Mindy’s futility could have at least had been chalked up to being in some fairly difficult matches.  But when you lose one on one to a rookie- in convincing fashion, no less, then yeah, it’s the beginning of the end for you.  Being left off the PPV isn’t going to help your cause much either.

#39- DEVEN KNIGHT [NEW]
Ugh... I can’t believe that I once actually picked this woman to win Future Shock Season 4.  After all the supposed hype surrounding her debut after being eliminated first in Season 4, the only two identifying features of Deven Knight is that she served in the Army, and that she wants to salute Christian Kincaids flagpole, the latter being a trait shared by a vast majority of her CLub CK sisters.  It takes a lot to be considered the more boring Knight, but there you go.

#38- STEPHANIE SULLIVAN [NEW]
Not exactly the debut Stephanie was hoping for, getting rolled by Crystal Hate like that.  Oh well, if this whole “Technical Wrestling Princess” schtick doesn’t work out for her, she can always go the route of the last supposed amateur wrestling superstar who also claimed to be a princess.

#37- MADISON KNIGHT [-6]
Wow... how crappy do you have to be where even Rori Snyder can’t cheat you to a win.  We have our answer in the already tiresome Maddi Knight, who’s wrestling skills are apparently about as good as her and Rori’s driving skills.

#36- LUMINA FERRARI [-3]
Well, on the bright side, it looks like Lumina’s dropped off Samantha’s hit list, so at least she’s no longer getting curbstomped by Rose Jenkins.  On the not-so-bright side, Lumina’s not exactly attracting any type of attention, as she’s sitting out the PPV, for no other reason than apparent apathy towards her.

#35- HANNA ELLIOT [NEW]
It should be telling to note that while Hanna is ranked, here in the thirty-five slot, Arabella is not, due to my rule that Future Shock rookies cannot be ranked if they are still actively in the competition.  That will all change at Sin & Saccrifice, as Future Shock will be over by then, and Arabella will be more than happy to take on Hanna Elliot in her first official match as an FFW wrestler.  Oh yeah, did I mention that this time- there won’t be any DQ’s or countouts to muck things up?

#34- EILEEN AMARO [NEW]
Ick.  It seriously pains me to rank Eileen this low, given how friggin amazing she’s been in that ring since her debut.  But being friggin amazing hasn’t quite translated into wins yet, although you can certainly chalk that up to the quality of competiton.  Still, Eileen remains my personal favorite to win the second Chase for the Crown, and believe me when I say that that series of matches are going to skyrocket at least a couple of girls up these rankings.

#33- SOPHIA BLACK [+1]
Sophia’s still searching for that first win since making her return, although losing to Raven Wicked in her latest letdown isn’t exactly anything to hang your head over.  The fact that she’s still subjecting us to the same shitty emo dreck on Twitter after all these months is another matter entirely.

#32- ALLISION DEAS [NEW]
Believe it or not, a Deas has been ranked this high before, although that was back when the Power X only had 34 wrestlers in it.  Still, theres a damn good reason why Allison is the second-highest ranking newcomer in the Power X this week- her flat out decimation of Simply Flawless was pretty damn sweet to behold.  Oh, and her dumping of Charity after the match didn’t exactly lose her any points, either.

#31- KASSANDRA [-1]
Let’s hope that whatever personal problems the Danger Queens have been having before, they can put it behind them and push forward together in the Chase For the Crown.  Kassie got some serious momentum in the first chase, but it’s faded since then.  She can get it back here- and how awesome would the propsect of a Kassandra vs. Charlie Gage final round be?

#30- SARAH RICHARDSON [NEW]
Sarah isn’t exactly the most personable wrestler on the roster.  And she’s definitely not the most intelligent.  Hell, I wouldn’t even say she’s one of the better looking ones.  But damn, that girl can wrestle!  Sure it was just Destiny Loveheart, but you could definitely see the talent there.  And that finishing move.  It makes my man-boobs hurt just thinking about it.

#29- CHARLOTTE GAGE [-1]
Second time is unfortunately not a charm for Charlie as she once again fell to Sophie Richards, this time without any assistance from Ms. St. Pierre.  Like her best friend and tag partner, the Chase for the Crown is the perfect opportunity to get yourself turned around.  But considering who they’re up against, that’s going to be a task easier said than done.

#28- KARA HARRINGTON [+1]
Kara’s taking S&S off, but you know she’s going to be very closely watching the Ultraviolence Championship match.  I have a feeling that’s going to be her target, especially if Camilla Pazzini doesn’t bring the belt home for Club CK.

#27- WHITLEY MERCER [-2]
A big good luck to Whitely, who’s started her education at Louisiana Tech.  Still, from the sounds of things, she still plans to work in FFW, and her being left off the Sin & Sacrifice card was something of a shock to me.  Everyone wants Whitley to turn the corner, but she’s not going to do it by not getting in that ring!

#26- JO MCFARLANE [-2]
Lack of officiating skills aside, Jo’s still only really known for three things around here- being the first eliminated in the third seasoin of future shock, winning a ladder match in the most fortuitous way possible, and joining the A-List.  None of those three things are going to help her against Crystal Hate, and when you combine that with the fact that Jo can’t get a standard win to save her life as long as a Loveheart or a Deas isn’t involved, then I think McFarlane could be in a decent spot of trouble come Sin & Sacrifice.

#25- IGNIS [+2]
Well, the Firebird has definitely seem to have found her calling now, her team with Hayley Dark [Bounce & Pounce] certainly had a formidable debut, when they shut down Jo and Eileen.  It seems to me the natural course of things would be a showdown between B&P and Team Adonis to see who is going to be the next contender to the tag team titles.  But that’s just my idea.

#24- EMMA MCINTYRE [-7]
With her loss to Rori Snyder at Velocity, Emma just became the new Amy- a former FFW Champion who’s primary purpose is proving just how far this company has come in the past year.  And that’s way beyond her.  You can’t even say it’s because Rori used a chair in this case- the whole purpose of the match was to punish Rori and teach her a lesson for the way she’s been cheating- and instead it lands Rori the biggest win of her career (the Colleen debacle notwithstanding)  Yeah, so Emma’s run herself out of excuses, and it won’t be long before the fans- and the MacKenzie mafia- run out of patience with her.

#23- REBBECCA VALENTINE [No Change]
FFW UNITY TAG TEAM CHAMPION
You have to give Becky some credit here- she and Stryfe are slowly but surely starting to work together, as they did a great job against Heavensent and Hellbound at Byte This.  Still, the fact remains- Rebbecca Valentine is little more than Kat’s tag team partner, with no individual merit of her own.  Which is all well and good- but what happens should Kat become FFW Champion (godforbid) and suddenly finds herself with an altogether higher priority?

#22- ALYSON SUMMERS [-4]
Round 1 in Alys’ battle with Casey Atherton went to Casey, and you know that can’t be sitting well with the Season 3 Champion.  The biggest question for Sin & Sacrifice is can Alyson actually focus long enough to wrestle a match, or is she going to be spending so much time trying to think about how to get into her tag partner’s pants, she takes the eye off the ball?

#21- HAYLEY DARK [-1]
Like I said before, Bounce & Pounce seems to be a team that actually works.  Hayley seems to be much more in tune with Ignis than she ever was with Belladonna.  That’s good- it should keep them in the mix as the tag division inevitably heats up.

#20- CRYSTAL HATE [+1]
Crystal got around Stephanie Sullivan with remarkable aplomb, and now her path at Jo McFarlane is clear.  Jo’s taken to fighting back though, with a sneak attack on Crystal the other night at Breaking Point.  But I have a feeling Hate’s not the type of person to be intimidated.

#19- CASEY ATHERTON [+7]
Casey is definitely making a name for herself here in FFW, but it sure is costing her in the friend department.  Either way, I don’t think Casey’s out to win a popularity contest (unless where Alex Adonis is concerned), but she’s still turning into one of my favorite people to watch in that ring.

#18- KELLY MCGUFFIN [+1]
Kelly McGuffin is the antithesis of the Future Shock supporters, a young woman who can just walk right into the company, and make a serious name for herself.  Obviously it helps when your girlfriend is the omnipresent Robbyn Helmsley, but she turned some heads with her win over Jo McFarlane in her debut, and her clocking of Mindy Smyth was shockingly unsurprising.  But how will Kelly fare when the competition surrounding her gets tougher, as it likely will after S&S?

#17- SOPHIE RICHARDS [-1]
It’s remarkable how the tables have turned in the two months since Payton and Sophie last faced each other.  Now it’s Payton who’s starting to look like a serious threat, especially after her thrashing of Sophie on Breaking Point after her match.  The burden of proof is solely on Richard’s shoulders, although that doesn’t factor too much- I Quit matches are made to have a definitive winner.  If Sophie wants to keep herself anywhere near that Television title... that definitive winner better be her.

#16- STACEY MACKENZIE [-3]
Stacey’s becoming a part of a huge controversy in SVW reguarding Stark & Stone and the tag titles.  But here in FFW, once again Stacey seems content to just sit quietly back, and let Emma do the MacKenzie Mafia’s grunt work in FFW.  While the Pollaskinator is all for laziness and delegating, you might want to consider the qualifications of your lackey before you send them off.

#15- STARLA MCCLOUD [Returning- Last Ranked 19th on June 19]
The not-so-good doctor made her very triumphant return to the ring at Velocity, and she emerged from her match the big winner.  Not only did she get a win over two members of Club CK, but she also managed to one-up her more personal rival, Casey Atherton.  You know with the new No Surrender title looking to make its appearance soon, Starla is sure to be close by.

#14- PAYTON ST. PIERRE [No Change]
FFW TELEVISION CHAMPION
It’s odd- save for her attack on Sophie last week, since winning the Television Championship- Payton’s actually managed to be come less annoying, not more.  Usually, with people so self-obsessed to the point of leaving reality, the opposite is the case.  Maybe she’s sick or something.  Or maybe she’s thinking in terror about her boyfriend/fiancee/whatever hanging from a steel cage above the ring.  Or what Sophie’s going to do to her if she can actually get ahold of her.  Sin & Sacrifice is going to be a long night for Payton.

#13- CAMILLA PAZZINI [-1]
I walked in online the other day, into a Tweetfight between Chunks and Rose Jenkins.  It’s awesome to think that the Ultraviolence title actually has some serious interest in it now- something that was never able to be accomplished with Kat Stryfe as champion. (Hint, hint).  This is gonna be one brutal match, and you know that Cammie is going to be wanting that gold back.

#12- RORI SNYDER [+3]
Yes, she’s a cheating hack.  Yes she’s overrated.  Yes, there’s minimal talent in that scrawny ass body of hers.  But she fucking keeps winning, and it honestly defies all logic.  Sooner or later someone’s going to beat her... right?  Well, I know who most people have in mind to finally put a stop to Rori Snyder’s illicit ascencion up the FFW ladder.  But will Scarlett actually be able to do it?

#11- RAVEN WICKED [No Change]
FFW ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
Raven’s a true dark horse wrestler, and I don’ tmean like the color of her ring attire.  She’s generally fairly quiet, to the point where you can easily forget she’s there.  But once she gets in that ring, what she does speaks serious volumes.  I doubt Camilla’s going to forget the Prison of punishment anytime soon, and neither she nor Rose Jenkins are going to be forgetting the Crimson Masks match next Saturday.  Raven’s going to make damn sure of that.

*Whew* Finally, the top 10!

#10- TARA THUNDER [-2]
Tara came up short at Breaking Point, and took her first loss, but you have to know that there’s going to be another stab at that Evolution Championship in her near future.  In the meantime, Tara takes on Lilah Carter, in a match that if it’s anything but a laugher, will be a huge shock and disappointment for Thunder.

#9- CRYSTAL HILTON [+1]
Crystal came up short at Byte This, and became the latest victim of the Kaitlynn Stryfe train.  But now we know we’re heading to the two out of three falls match with Wendy Briese, which Crystal has had her eye on for nearly two months now.  You know that she’s going to be ready.

#8- ROSE JENKINS [+1]
The bad news for Rose is that she’s probably the only person in FFW who’d probably look better with her face covered in blood.  The good news for Rose is that she obviously isn’t one to care about aesthetics, and she’s got every valid reason to be the only one walking back from the Ultraviolence title match with her face clear.  And the good news for the fans is that we’re all gonna get to see just what kind of hell Rose is going to wreak throughout.

#7- ROBBYN HELMSLEY [No Change]
Considering that Robbs pinned Isabella at Byte This, then turned around and lost to her in the tables match afterwards, it seems only fair to stick her in the same spot for the week.  It’ll be weird to have a PPV without Supergirl, as she’s truly become a staple of the company, but such is the way things work.

#6- COLLEEN [-2]
So who’d have thought that after nearly six months as Evolution Champion, Colleen would have simply tossed the belt aside like that?  Obviously, the rumor around is that Colleen thinks that it’s time for her to move up, and out of the Evolution division.  Personally, I think she was scared of Robbyn.

#5- WENDY BRIESE [+1]
FFW EVOLUTION CHAMPION
Well, Wendy got the belt she’s spent the last four months chasing for.  Now she just has to hold on to the damned thing.  Considering all that’s going to be on the line at Sin & Sacrifice for her, she’s probably going to have me working overtime.  Dammit :(

#4- KATHERINE STRYFE [+1]
FFW UNITY TAG TEAM CHAMPION
So finally, the moment is here.  Hopefully, Kaitlynn will make quick work of Kat here, so we can get this over with and send Kat back to the midcard where she rightfully belongs.

#3- ISABELLA PAZZINI [No Change]
Isabella’s unscrupulous methods may have cost her a tag team partner, but they sure as hell came in handy in that tables match.  Like Robbyn, the win-loss sequence pretty much means its only fair that she stays where she is.  And like Robbyn, the concept of not seeing Izzy competing on a PPV is a definite foreign one.

#2- SCARLETT KINCAID [No Change]
Scar’s been chomping at the bit for this match for just about two months now, and the time has finally come!  Remember, folks- this is a woman who’s pretty much delayed a guaranteed rematch at the FFW Championship to face Rori.  Let’s hope someone finally gets the job done around here!

#1- KAITLYNN STRYFE [No Change]
FFW CHAMPION
Kitty got another impressive win at Byte This, downing Crystal Hilton.  Honestly, the only way I see her losing at Sin & Sacrifice is if she completely overlooks Katherine Stryfe, and I honestly don’t see her doing that.  I guess we’ll see if the Femme For All winner has a chance to dethrone her.

And there you are!

INCOMING!
What’s incoming this week is SIN AND SACRIFICE, the fifth PPV on the FFW calendar!  Eleven matches with thirty-two wrestlers (although two are understandably not active FFW roster members).  Absolutely loaded card, and if you haven’t ordered it yet... what the hell are you waiting for?

Wondering what you’ll see?  Check this out.

#10 Tara Thunder vs. #46 Lilah Carter
It’s starting to seem like every FFW PPV, there’s a match that is a flat-out designated ass-kicking.  This is that match.  I’m not sure what all Lilah Carter’s done to piss off the bosses, but I do know that an angry, frustrated Tara Thunder is looking to twist poor Lilah’s head off.  Lucas Peek better breathe a sigh of relief- by the time this one’s over, there might not be anything left of Carter for him to deal with!
WINNER: TARA THUNDER
NO DISQUALIFICATION: #35 Hanna Elliot vs. Arabella De Rossi
This ‘rivalry’ comes to a head here, after both girls went to a double countout a couple weeks ago on Velocity.  On paper, this one is clearly in Arabella’s favor, as she’s survived longer in Future Shock, has shown to be far more vicious, and let’s face it, you don’t just get the experience Hanna desperately needs in a two month span.  Unless Arabella gets injured in the bullrope match with Kain, I don’t see how she could possibly go down here.
WINNER: ARABELLA DE ROSSI

CHASE FOR THE CROWN 2, FIRST ROUND- EIGHT FEMME TAG: #29 Charlie Gage, #31 Kassandra, #33 Sophia Black & Gretchen Sanders vs. #30 Sarah Richardson, #34 Eileen Amaro, Alyssa Foxworth & Desirae Kain
Ah, I love the smell of a good clusterfuck in the morning.  Honestly, this is a contest that could easily go either way.  On one team, you have four women who have shown varying degrees of potential, but just havent’ been able to convert that potential into success.  On the other side, four relative newcomers- two women who just had their first match, and two more who are coming in from Future Shock.  All things considered- I think that the Richardson/Amaro combination could be a flat out lethal one, and that’s my early pick for the finals.
WINNER: RICHARDSON/AMARO/FOXWORTH/KAIN

Fuck, that sounds like a law firm, don’t it?

#20 Crystal Hate vs. #26 Jo McFarlane
This is a definite match of contrasts.  Crystal Hate is the very definition of the term “under the radar”, as she has quietly worked her way up the ladder, gaining impressive victories, albet over other newcomers.  Jo McFarlane’s the very definition of the term “much ado about nothing”- someone who you can’t seem to ignore, who’s always on television, yet who’s accomplished very little.  There’s the A-List factor, to be sure, but all of them have their own problems they need to be worrying about.  Unless Jo can pull out some tricks, and actually accomplish something of her own merit, Crystal Hate is going to be walking away a victor.
WINNER: CRYSTAL HATE

TAG: #19 Casey Atherton & Alex Adonis vs. #22 Alyson Summers & Christian Kincaid
Honestly, if someone were to throw Casey over the top rope, then blow the ring up with the other three inside, I wouldn’t shed a  single tear.  That being said, you know that Aly’s going to be looking for some serious revenge, after Atherton and McCloud beat her and Knight back on Velocity.  And she probably is the better wrestler, but let’s be honest here- Casey Atherton always manages to pull something out of her sleeve.  I don’t think this match will be any different.
WINNER: TEAM ADONIS

FFW TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP- I QUIT MATCH: #14 Payton St. Pierre © vs. #17 Sophie Richards
This has been a hell of a rivalry between these two girls, but now it’s all coming to an end.  St. Pierre was being dominated until July 7, when she pulled a victory over Richards  out of freaking nowhere (with a little help from some fire, of course).  That brings us to today.  Sophie’s going to be hot for vengeance, that’s for sure, especially after the beatdown Payton delivered to her last week.  This one’s literally a toss-up, but in the end, I think that Sophie is going to pull out all the stops, and it will be Payton who’s surrendering.
WINNER: SOPHIE RICHARDS

SUBMISSION: #6 Colleen vs. #24 Emma McIntyre
So, we start with an I Quit match, and then go straight into a submission match?  Odd.  If anything, this should prove an excellent preview for the upcoming No Surrender division, when submission matches are the norm.  And it serves as yet another chance for Colleen to get herself a big-name victory- after all, no matter how much Emma’s fallen off the pace, a win over a former FFW Champion still looks nice on the resume.  As far as Emma goes, well, obviously this is another attempt by those meddlin’ MacKenzies to bring some sort of balance to FFW.  But given how effective Emma’s been in this role so far...
WINNER: COLLEEN

FFW EVOLUTION CHAMPIONSHIP/FEMME FOR ALL FIRST ROUND- TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS: #5 Wendy Briese © vs. #9 Crystal Hilton
So let’s take a look at the stakes here.  For the winner, they’re the Evolution Champion, and they advance to the next round of the Femme for All tournament, even before any other participant is announced.  For the loser, well... nothing.  Seriously, there doesn’t get much higher stakes than this, and there isn’t a more pressure filled rivalry to stack these stakes upon.  Wendy’s had the better success, but that’s only going to serve to fuel Crystal’s fire even more.  Honest to God, once this gets to the third fall (I’ll be stunned if either side sweeps), I don’t know if I’m going to be able to watch anymore.
WINNER: WENDY BRIESE (gotta have faith!)

FFW ULTRAVIOLENCE CHAMPIONSHIP- TRIPLE THREAT CRIMSON MASK MATCH: #11 Raven Wicked © vs. #8 Rose Jenkins vs. #13 Camilla Pazzini
Two things come to mind here.  The first is the interesting concept that we’re looking at a rookie, who’s as violent as they come, but nevertheless a rookie, defending her title against two of the most brutal legends FFW has ever seen.  The second is just how short this match might end up being- Ultraviolence matches tend to get real bloody, real quick, so we  could be looking at a record here.  But whether or not the match is a thirty minute, five-star affair, or the ding-whack-whack-ding car crash I think it’s going to be, there’s one woman that stands out here as the most dangerous.
WINNER: ROSE JENKINS

HELL IN A CELL: #2 Scarlett Kincaid vs. #12 Rori Snyder
I think in a lot of people’s minds, this is the true main event of the show.  After all, you have all the makings of a classic- two former friends turned deadly enemies in a rivalry so personal, it’s involved Rori making multiple attempts on the life of CODY KINCAID.  That’s just not cool.  Scarlett’s been simmering for nearly two months now, since that security footage was released, and you know she’s going to explode the moment that door closes.  But Rori’s managed to stay one step ahead of all her opponents so far, and I doubt she feels Scarlett will be any exception.  Still, there’s no denying that Scarlett is going to be relentless, to the point where I’m not sure even Rori has enough tricks to slow her down.  This one’s going to be close... but violent.
WINNER: SCARLETT KINCAID

FFW CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 Kaitlynn Stryfe © vs. #4 Katherine Stryfe
And finally, this one.  Instant proof that you don’t need to have a blockbuster main event to put on a must-see PPV.  I think we all know how this one’s going to go, so there’s really no need to flog a dead horse (or Kat, for that matter).  Moving on!
WINNER: KAITLYNN STRYFE

AWARDS!
So, this week, Danny forgot to actually line up an awards guest, which is one of the reasons why this column is so late.  Luckily, Isabella Pazzini threw her hat into the ring, and volunteered to give her assessment of the situation.  Thanks, Izzy!  Almost thought I was going to have to write some shit myself!

Ah, lazy me.

Pay no attention to the other 6,000+ words of the column.

Take it away, Meanie Pazzini!

MATCH OF THE WEEK - Isabella vs. Robbyn: Tables Match
Okay, not wanting to self-promote here, honestly. I would have given the Evolution ladder match this honour had Colleen not ruined it (see - Douchebag). But I honestly feel this was one of the best matches I’ve had in FFW, and that’s as much a credit to Robbyn as it is for me. She may not have amazing wrestling skills, but damn, that bitch can fight. It was just a vicious bout, which was extremely well received by the fans, and I’m delighted I came out with the (rather brutal) victory. Bad luck for Robbyn, but hey, she probably fucked a bunch of people for commiseration!

Or Kelly McGuffin, a bunch of times.  Hey-o!  Runners up!
- Colleen vs. Eileen Amaro (The Cinderella factor aside, this was a hell of a back and forth contest, that nearly saw one of the most massive upsets in FFW history.  Careful, everyone- in a few months, this might not even be an upset!)
- Bounce & Pounce vs. Jo & Eileen (I think it should say something about Eileen that she was in both runner-up matches this week.  But you also had to admire the tenacity of Bounce & Pounce.  Hope the Eternal Flame was watching, because I think we have some serious contenders.

WINNER OF THE WEEK - Wendy Briese
So we have a new Evolution Champion, that spells ultimate winner in my book! Wendy did a great job in the ladder match, and ended up coming away with the W and the belt. I know people think Wendy & my relationship has seemingly collapsed, but in my opinion, it was just a stupid fight over nothing. We are very different people, and we go about business in different ways, but we’re both great wrestlers, and that’s what’s important. So I’d like to, you know, extend the olive branch a little here. Oh, and good job girl. Now do us all a favour and smash up that perfection wannabe!

I think I’ll turn this over to Wendy herself for the response.
“Thanks, Isabella!  I think we did have a bit of a misunderstanding over some stuff.  Just one thing... my husband misread this, and he thinks that ‘olive branch’ meant ‘Olive Garden’, and you were treating us.  So um... you and Mr. Showtime want meet us in Detroit for dinner?  I’ll actually pay.”
Runners up!
- Crystal Hate (Being jumped by Jo McFarlane aside, Crystal just keeps chugging along.  Danny sees a TV title shot in her near future.)
- Kaitlynn Stryfe (I don’t need a fuckin’ reason!  Kitty’s always a winner!)

LOSER OF THE WEEK - Charity Deas
Very rare someone who wins a match gets Loser of the Week, but here... it just seemed appropriate. Firstly, Charity more or less got her ass handed to her by Simply Flawless (a feat I didn’t think was possible, even for a delusional bitch who thinks she can travel through time). Then, after the match, she got punked out and strangled half to death by her own sister. Sucks to be her I guess. Camilla & I have had fights sure, but she’s never strangled me on live television. So I’m at least grateful for that!

Considering she’s a time traveler, you’d have thought she’d have seen these things coming.  Brains!  Where we’re going, we don’t need brains! Runners up!
- Tara Thunder (Tough break for her, walking out of BP empty handed.  At least she gets to take her frustrations out on...)
- Lilah Carter (Oh dear.  If you thought all the shit Lucas Peek did was bad...)

DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK - Colleen
Okay, seriously. Walking out of a championship match was a disgusting display. Firstly, it disrespects the Evolution Championship... and her opponents... and the fans... pretty much everyone. Now I know, I’ve been known for pulling some shit in the past that’s pissed people off, but I’ve never walked out of a damn title match, and basically ruined it. Sure, I’m glad this callous, haughty bitch isn’t the champion anymore... I think we all are. But to spew off about me and various others not treating this business with respect, and then... going off and doing that... yeah. Colleen has problems. Oh, and I haven’t forgotten that little crossface of yours, dearie. Watch your damn back.

Well said, Pazzini.  Well said.
- Allison Deas (Okay, that was awesome.  But it was still douchey.  Although if Allison’s done this before, it’d explain why Charity was so fucking dumb.  Not enough oxygen to the brain.)
- Payton St. Pierre (I don’t need a fuckin’ reason (although that post match beatdown served nicely)!  Payton’s always a douchebag!)

Thanks once again to Isabella Pazzini for the awards!

SOUND OFF!
Well, luckily, I did the sound-off section a little sooner this time, and got far more responses for it.  It sounds like people are starting to like the idea of this little bit, and I think it’s going to be fun to watch people give their opinions on various subjects concerning FFW.

This week, I turned to Twitter not just for the answers, but for the question itself.  Some kid up in Deadhorse named Carter Montgomery replied, with the following question-

“Who is the hottest rising star in FFW?”

(Okay, so friend of Chris Strike and Eileen Amaro Leander Apollo came up with the question, and Carter just went with it, but still.  He’s a high schooler.  He doesn’t need to be creative!)

Anyways, the answers:

KELLY McGUFFIN! Not only is she nice to look at she's on a fuckin' tear in the ring! she's totally gifted and shows great potential- Carter Montgomery (@AlaskanBoi) [apparently one of Robbyn Helmsleys friends.  Or something]

Alvin Shepherd lol- Nick Sanders (@ObiWan_Shinobi) [brother of Shane Sanders and SVW wrestler.  And apparent troll]

Maddison Knight, simply because she rocks and I trust her with my life!- Rori Snyder (@FFWWorthlessBitch)

I'll say Crystal Hate. She has a look that makes her stand out, and has shown she has some real skill inside that ring.- Isabella Pazzini (@MrsShowtime_IP)

I think Wendy is the hottest talent we have and I also think that her passion is what people find so off putting. She's old school but she carries it well. Nothing but respect for her.- Shane Sanders (@DixieMuse)

Hottest rising star… hmmmm I would say is yeah KELLY McGUFFIN let's face it she's got a huge win in her debut and got the win over Mindy- Robbyn Helmsley (@FFWSupergirl)

Well the answer is Wendy Briese. This is not mind games this is the truth. Shes beaten me won a belt. It will be an honor fighting her again- Crystal Hilton (@FFWPerfection)

Tough call! Crystal Hate is doing very well... but I liked what I saw in Eileen Amaro.  I think she’s going to be huge here.- Wendy Briese (@WendyBriese)

Arabella de Rossi. The woman is vicious and that will take her a long way in this company.- Colleen (@CrcksNtheCeilin)
